The devil is at work on both ends of the battle, over a growing population of pill-poppers and magic bullet seekers. Habitual use of SSRIs and other mood stabilizing drugs are on the rise amongst those that probably do not need them; this is true for children. Most mental pathos just needs spiritual deliverance from generational strongholds and curses. The true psychos need heavy sedation and jail time.

they haven't declined
people simply have stopped saying demon possession and started labeling everything and giving medications for everything... hint if medication DOESN'T work for you think of something else
but I really don't believe in alot of mental illnesses... the doctors call everything a mental disorder so they can load the world on hundreds of medications I was on depressents to help hyperactivity, got depressed and got put on anti as well so then I started hallucinating and doing a bunch of crazy stuff and they put me on PSYCHOTICS because they didn't realize or want to realize that I was actually NORMAL with a bad reaction to several different medications since then I really don't put much stock in psychiatry and dont' really believe in most serious mental illnesses.... unless you wanna PROVE it to me with out a shadow of a doubt

I am wondering first of all, what makes you think that they have declined?

I am of the thought that you should read a book by the author C.S. Lewis named the screwtape letters.

This is fiction, although it would explain why you believe that the number of demon possession cases have declined.

First rule of any demonic possession. Make them believe that it really isnt so.
