Yes it is possible, believing that there is a universal force, like a natural force that makes the universe work to a degree, like it has a design to it. This would be a very loose defintion of God, and would not be liked by either extreme. Some agnostics might like it.

Yes. The moderate position is that the existence of God cannot be proven nor unproven... so we do not truly know if God exists or not. It's just something that you believe with your heart.

However, if there is no God, there are no consequences to anything we do in this life beyond death. The person who lives a life of goodness ends up in the same place as the person who spent his entire life making others suffer. Do you believe this? It may be true, but many choose to believe there is a larger order to things. Just as there is order in science, there can also be order in life. And just like there are many things in science we do not understand, there are many things about life (and the afterlife) that we may not understand.

Only in death will we truly know what becomes of us when we die. But until then, considering that one has no way of knowing if God exists or not, it is safe to assume that God does indeed exist, and that we should live our lives accordingly. Because one day the moment may come where we must stand judgment, and we should be prepared. If that moment never comes, if there is no judgment, then at least we will have lived a life of goodness and virtue and made the world a better place for those who continue to live on.

There either is or there isn't. Its not like you can claim half a god. Perhaps the most in between position is the pantheist who simply redefines the word god as nature so that one exists.

I don't agree with the word moderate though. That would mean that being truthful is not moderate.

Lets see...
There either is a God
Or there is not a God....

Which is the "moderate" position?

It might be possible to have a "moderate" position on the nature of God. But it is "yes" or "no" on his existence.

Yes there is a God. But if you really want to know for sure go to the source. And that is ask him yourself by praying to him with your question. And please ask him with sincerity and you will get your answer. Be VERY sincere about this while praying. "Oh" and by the way, if you do not know how to pray it's OK, he'll still hear you. See he knows your questions and your heart before you even begin to seek him. Now let me warn you in advance, you may not get your answer today, tomorrow, or the next....BUT YOU WILL GET AN ANSWER.

There may and there may not be. I do not believe in the bible God as there are way too many inaccuracies, lack of evidence and for the fact that if God loves us so much so and we need to believe to go to heaven, then why does he leave us in limbo? He gave us our brain and therefore gave us the ability to think the way we think, so it is not our fault if we need to see to believe. Those who don't are gullible or very fearful in general. I laugh at the term "surrender" to him. I would surrender to an enemy not someone who loves me. Yes things happen for a reason...because you ran in front of a car, or ate too much, or jumped off something that was a little too high...not because of God.

yes there is.

if you take a "spiritual" approach to it rather than a religious approach with a responce something like:

"yes, there is, we are all god, he is our belief and a part of us, therefore god whether real or not resides in each of us"

Beware however if you use this tactic different things can happen depending upon your gender:

Male: you will be b itch slapped for bieng a pansy.

Female: he will not respect you in the morning.

Canadian: you will turn into bullwinkle.
