I am not even concerned about his latest troubles with his show being temporarily pulled for using the n word thats another story. He prays to Jesus in almost every episode then turns around uses horrid language makes threats then turns around and trys to be nice the last few minutes before he gets his bounty's to jail. Never in his prayers does he ask for forgiveness for his mouth language. Or threats he makes. I get the whole no ones perfect and we all make mistakes and all we have to do is ask to be forgiven. He never does!

The president in all his finery sends the christian young men and women of this nation to die professing that he is a christian God fearing man. I do not see him sending his daughter out to die in battle, nor do I see him personally running into battle gun in hand attacking the enemy. I do see him however pulling the strings not risking any of his grand lifestyle ehile the people of our nation suffer the torment of loss.

This is a question for Christians...

Where were you before you came to earth?

And if you say Heaven...then who made you and how?

Were you always in Heaven with God, or did he make you?

Why did we have to come to earth, since we were already in Heaven?

How do you get back into Heaven?

Will we know each other in Heaven?

Will we have knowledge of our time on earth?

And how gets to go to Heaven?

Will God be forgiving and merciful and forgive all people of their sins if they ask for it, or is it "once you're dead, that's it, no second chance at forgiveness"?

So, I'm reading a lot about dedicating yourself specifically to one or two Netjer, and giving yourself a Shemsu name. Are either necessary?

I'm perfectly comfortable with my own name [Renee] unless it is displeasing to Netjer. Also, I really wouldn't mind worshiping all of them equally (well, not *all* right away, since there are hundreds, but rather all of which I know well).

Years before I was into Kemetic Religion I was strictly Aset-based, though more Greco-Roman all-encompassing-goddess Isis, than Aset. Could that be a sign that she is already picked out for me, or would choosing one require much longer study?

Seriously, the ones that I have known would not let their children hang out w/ non jehovahs, how is this something that God woudl teach he says love all, and talk to anyone, then i knew one where he didnt even know his own sons age b/c they dont celebrate b-days, that sounds so shallow, yet he drank wine? Can someone explain to me exactly what is the purpose of the Jehovah Witnesses religion? What exactly do they worship?

I am a teenager who wanted to do the work of Christ when I grew up. My uncle also once had a vision that I was weraing shepherd's clothing(or I would do the work of God). Recnetly, I felt that didn't want to do that when I grew up and just lead a normal life. Can't I change my future? Isn't it in my hands? I sometimes feel like a slave to God's will. Inasmuch as how much I wanted to do his work when I grew up and probably still do, I'm having second thoughts and feel like I should just lead a normal life. If I want to lead a normal life, then will my uncle's vision have to come true when I don't want it to come true? I have a little problem in my mind here and don't understand what I really want anymore. Please help me as I am scared to make a decision. (I have also thought of leading a normal life and after some years going to do God's work).

It can't be to learn things, because many of you believe that all things are explained in Heaven. It can't be to learn about God's love, because you can do that in Heaven. It can't be to learn suffering, you can learn that in Hell. It can't be to praise God, because he has angels that can do that, and that is also something you can do in Heaven. It can't be to have a family, because free-will negates the assurance that everyone you love will meet you in Heaven, and common belief is that when you get to heaven you'll have a new family and won't remember the old one (especially those that don't make it to Heaven). It can't be to spread the word about God, because you aren't born into or live in places where no one has heard of him.

So, what exactly is your purpose in life? How is it different from anyone elses? What is the purpose of being on Earth, if God can do anything in Heaven?

My husband for some reason seems to think that God created Lucifer to become Satan so he could torment us (Gods beloved children) so He could show us His love by saving us from Satan's torments.
I think that's the equivalent of me having someone that I created torment my son so I can step in and say to my son "See son I'll save you from this bad thing that I created, this is how much I love you".
It just doesn't make any sense to me that God would deliberately create something with the sole purpose to kill us and torment us just so He could show us His love by saving us.
Is this true?
Did God really create Lucifer to become evil so he would hurt us thereby enabling Himself to step in and show His love by saving us?
Are there any bible versus that support this or discredits this?
I'd really like to know because if it's not true I don't want my husband repeating it to unsuspecting people.

Definition: "God explains what science does not adequately explain."

By this definition, does God exist?

If you think that science does not adequately explain everything then God exists.

If you think that science adequately explains everything, then God doesn't exist.

corollaries:
1. Since science adequately explains more things every year, the "power" of God diminishes as time passes.
2. If you think that science will never adequately explain everything, then God will always exist (He'll never die)

I am a Christian. I obviously believe in God and Jesus, but
I'm not sure it is right to worship Jesus. I thought the bible says that no one is above God and we are to only worship Him?
I know Jesus is awesome for living a perfect life and the fact that He is God's son, but Jesus got his guidence from God. He was able to do all he did because of God, I know we should strive to be like Jesus and use Him as an example for how we should live (if we want to please God). But, should we worship Him? When people say "thank you Jesus" while praying, shouldn't they be thanking God first? God made Jesus. Also, When I say my prayers I end it with "in the name of Jesus" since the bible says that through Jesus we reach God. Does that mean that Jesus is God's messenger, or does our prayers go directly to God. Is the Holy Spirit Jesus' spirit or God. I know that they are "all one" but Jesus walked the earth and was created by God, and he still seeked guidence from God;doesn't that make them separate?

if i told you i've never sinned in my life would you believe me? why or why not? do you assume it's impossible? wouldn't that take away from the idea that we have free will? if god made us such that it is impossible for us not to sin, how can you say he gave us free will?

What works for you. Some of us have received help from the word and from so many brothers and sisters over the years.
One thing that I have really been impressed with as a key is that the Christian life can only truly be lived out from our spirit. Our soul that has become the " self" will always fail and our flesh is so weak. The spirit that is indwelt by the Holy Spirit I have learned is the Key for me.

Share what is the Key(s) to you.
May our sharing truly be a way to encourage one another today.

If you start reading Revelation thinking it is prophesy of the future you will NEVER figure out what was going on then and there. Revelation is about war between Christians and Jews.
It REVEALs the truth about Jesus. The ancient popes who believed it was a sin to cover up anything in the Bible rewrote Revelation and taught it was the future instead of history. Damned clever those popes.
If it were not for the Catholic anti-christ organization born-agains would have never heard of their godYou claim the Catholic church is the anti-christ. Yet you worship their logo. Now some born-again will say he/she doesn't understand the question. They are liars. They say that in defense of their weak faith.

OF COURSE WE CAME FROM MONKEYS!!!

If you merely wish to say our ancestors were not identical to any living species of monkey, that of course is correct, but that's a distinction I don't think any of the religious posters here care about.
