Jesus said this:
"But I tell you that men will have to give account on the day of judgment for every careless word they have spoken. For by your words you will be acquitted, and by your words you will be condemned."
Matthew 12:26-37
The Bible has a great deal to say about the tongue - how and what we speak.

Sounds like my mother-in-law. Knows everything about everything and can't help but butt into any conversation.....Actually there are a couple scriptures:
1 Peter 4:15 - 15Â However, let none of you suffer as a murderer or a thief or an evildoer or as a busybody in other people’s matters.
[Notice how butting in to other people's business ranks as high as being a murderer or theif.]
1 Timothy 5:13 - ...they also learn to be unoccupied, gadding about to the houses; yes, not only unoccupied, but also gossipers and meddlers in other people’s affairs, talking of things they ought not.
Hope these help

Possibly the mention of gossip in 2 Corinthians 12:20; ‘... for I am afraid that perhaps when I come I may find you to be not what I wish and may be found by you to be not what you wish; that perhaps there will be strife, jealousy, angry tempers, disputes, slanders, gossip, arrogance, disturbances;
And the mention of conceit in Philippians 2:3; ‘ ... do nothing from selfishness or empty conceit, but with humility of mind regard one another as more important than yourselves... ‘

The book of James discusses this. Words without deeds and presuming to know the future. Don't know the exact verses off the top of my head, but it's a short book.

Lots of places, one that comes to mind is Matthew 6:5 where a hyprocrite was praying:
5And when thou prayest, thou shalt not be as the hypocrites are: for they love to pray standing in the synagogues and in the corners of the streets, that they may be seen of men. Verily I say unto you, They have their reward.

There is a proverb that says that a fool loks like a wise man when he keeps quiet.
Proverb 17: 28
Even a fool, when he holdeth his peace, is counted wise: and he that shutteth his lips is esteemed a man of understanding.

Never met a Christian who wasn't a know-it-all. Most of them seem to suffer from know-it-all syndrome, as in, assuming that they know more than a doctor would. It's a common symptom.
