It seems to me that many churches are frequently telling Christian guys that they need to be more loving and kind and gentle i.e. feminine. They are almost always giving them challenges on Father's day while Thanking the mothers on Mother's day. It does seem to be lopsided to me - not very favorable towards men. What do you think? Has the pendelum swung over to being Pro-women and Anti-men in many or most churches or am I just full of it? Any thoughts welcomed as long as they're respectful! :)

Instead of allowing sin and sending billions upon billions of people to hell, why didn't God just kill the two people responsible for sin and start over with two new people?

One of the seldom-discussed traits of Asperger's Syndome and High-Functioning Autism is a lack of spiritual belief. A large majority of functional autistics are atheists, agnostics, or otherwise non-religious, whereas 90% of the general population follow some type of religious belief.

Since these conditions are genetic and present at birth, does that mean that they are part of God's plan? Why would God create a condition that physically disables people from believing? Are such people damned from birth?

What do you think? Thanks in advance for thoughtful answers.

My understanding is that it was Paul that started christianity for the sake of his Gentile followers. I'm asking the question seriously because the Bible doesn't mention anywhere, where Jesus told his followers that Christianity is the religion to follow.

I do try and study and understand all religions (NOT FOLLOW, lol, just study). I consider myself to be much spiritual but I don't follow a particular religion.

(I'm paroled from religion, due to good behavior). lol *just joking

But, if anyone can provide me an answer to my question or just your honest views, I would appreciate it. Thanks!

Californians Give God Thanks for Blessings Great and Small after Devastating Fires
"Dear Lord, thank You for sparing us again and thank You for helping all the people who needed the help."

Teresa Neumann (October 30, 2007)

(San Diego, Ca.)—The Associated Press has reported that in one California area, hit hard by the recent fires, people are giving thanks to God for all things great and small. A sign outside of the Rancho Bernardo Community Presbyterian Church reads: "Life is Fragile; Handle with Prayer." (AP Photo/Rick Bowmer)

"Praise the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit; we have lucked out much more than we deserve," said Bill Lange, a scientist who led the service. "Dear Lord, thank You for sparing us again, and thank You for helping all the people who needed the help."

To read in detail about the devastation left by the fire and the many thanks people are giving, follow the link provided.

Have you heard of "purity balls?" Many people in 48 states have these balls. It's where young girls ages 9-19 pledge to be pure and save themselves for marriage. What do you all think about them is it right to expose young girls at age 9 to pledge to be pure? The fathers also pledge to protect their daughters and support them. Please tell me your opinions!

This is from our study in the Revelation book at bookstudy...I have bookstudy Monday night...and I really enjoyed the study extra extra last night with the description of the little scroll that John took from the strong angel's(Jesus) hand and ate a piece of. To us the message is sweet because it means salvation and peace for Jehovah's loyal servants, but for wicked ones it is a bitter message...a message of doom....what experiences have you had out in the ministry or what do you think of this particular study. I love it...and the picture on page160 with the different people's reactions.

And please for the love of god don't tell me the ten commandment are in some church in Ethiopia

Right now it's Halloween, which is pagan and evil for promoting demons and the devil. When, in reality, halloween is a christian (specifically catholic) festival. True, they speicfically designed it to coopt the pagan harvest festivals, but "All Hallow's Eve" was purely a product of the church.

Soon, it will be Christmas. When they will complain at great length about how people are losing the "true meaning". When christmas was originally scheduled to hijack pagan winter solstice holidays. In fact, the Bible indicates that Jesus wasn't even born in -winter-, much less a specific day on a calendar system that didn't exist at the time.

Then, a few months later, They'll be up in arms about Easter. And how the easter bunny is a pagan idol. When Easter is another holiday scheduled to steal thunder from pagan holidays, the spring equinox. Don't think Easter has anythign to do with pagans? Then why is it on the first sunday after the first full moon after the vernal equinox?

I mean, you don’t get any real questions resolved. Half the people on there are bitter haters waiting for anything to lash at you about. If you have a serious question, you defiantly shouldn’t ask it here.

This R&S board in particular is such a sham, if you want real help you shouldn’t even bother coming to this site. The evil ones are picking fights, the “holy ones” hate each other and everyone feels the need to stand up for what they believe in when God doesn’t need your help…He’ll help you.

So does any one feel the same way? Or do you just like the fighting? As if we needed more hate in the world.. I’m Catholic and I love everyone atheist and protestant alike, if you’re going to act like Christians, start loving everyone and stop spreading the hate.

I went to numerous Catholic masses, even went through RCIA program. I only went to one Episcopal sermon, and one Lutheran. I noticed that the Episcopal sermon is more like Catholic than Lutheran.
I was wondering, what makes the Lutheran and Episcopal church a bit different than Catholic. What Bible does the Lutheran use, and do either have much focus on Virgin Mary and do either do the Rosary? Any additional information will be greatly appreciated! Thanks a bunch!
