There is proof that he was a real man. But whether he is divine and could do supernatural or not is your decision. Many believe he was just another false prophet is all.

Do you believe that any of the following people lived
Augustus Cesar
Julius Cesar
Homer
Plato
Socrates
Aristotle
Alexander the Great

If you can except that the Historic evidence support the existence of those people, the same Historic evidence is there to prove that Jesus existed. Actually it is more likely that Jesus lived than those people.

The Bible says, in too many verses to write here, that He existed before the world was formed, that He was born of a virgin, that He made His mission a reality at the young age of 12, that He was baptized as an example for Christians to follow, that He was tempted of the Devil, and won that victory, that He raised the dead, healed the sick, made the deaf to hear and the mute to speak, stopped a woman's hemorrhage from flowing, etc. He hung, bled and died for a church that is in existence right now, with a doctrine that was instituted to save people's souls. No one, past or present, living or dead, has done what Jesus Christ has done.

He changed the lives of hundreds of people in His physical lifetime and millions now in this lifetime. I could go on and on, but I have to get to class soon.

The doctrine of the Church of Christ can be found in 1 Corinthians 15:1-4. It is the recounting of the death, burial and resurrection of Christ. The following steps must be taken in order to become a member of the Church of Christ:

1) You must HEAR the Word, Romans 10:17.
2) You must BELIEVE what you've heard, Romans 10:9-10.
3) You must REPENT of your sins, Luke 13:3.
4) You must CONFESS Jesus as the Son of God, Mat. 10:32.
5) You must BE BAPTIZED for the remission of sins, Acts 2:38.

After this, you must BE FAITHFUL unto death, Revelation 2:10.

My question to you is, Can you prove He didn't exist?

No proof? Where do you even get that? There's as much proof for Jesus' existence as there is for any other historical figure...funny, no one ever doubts the existence of Siddhartha Gautama, or Archimedes, or Julius Caesar. Jesus, though, must be just a fairy tale. Uhh, ok...

I'm an atheist, and I don't deny that a man named Jesus who had religious followers who believed him to be the messiah. There were several people who accomplished the same thing around the same time. Jesus just got the recognition.

Go research the accounts of Pilate, Josephus Flavious, Tacitus, Pliny the Younger and Lician of Samosata. Check the Babylonian Talmud as well.

There's as much proof Jesus existed as there is for just about every other historical character. For some reason, though, I never see anyone doubt the existence of Archimedes, or the Buddha, or Confucius, or Mohammed.

Of course, a lot of what is said about him is myth. But he existed all the same.

Plenty of proof. His very life here on earth is very discriptive while here on earth. throught the scriptures of His Fathers word, the holy bible. Open the pages of His fathers word and read the many accounts of his life here of earth.
2 Timothy 3:16; 2 Petrer 1: 20, 21

I guess it's stupid to believe that Jesus existed, but it's very easy to believe everything in a history book right? Give me a break. I KNOW he exists.

I guess the same reason why I believe that there is wind even thought I can't see it. I can see the evidence of it's existence just like with the Lord. I see evidence of his existence. I just wish everyone could.
