For either believing or not believing in the trinity? Okay this is what I mean by this question trinitarian Christians believe that non trinitarian Christians will be going to hell for not believing in the trinity even though they may very well have accepted Jesus Christ as their lord and savior. Non trinitarian Christians believe that trinitarian Christians will go to hell for accepting the doctrine of the trinity even though there might be those who truly did accept Jesus Christ as their lord and savior which brings me back to my cover question of what's the point of accepting Christ if some believe that you will end up going to hell because of the whole trinity doctrine whether you believe in it or not? I'm confused by the whole thing. Which is more important accepting Christ as lord and savior or accepting or rejecting the doctrine of the trinity?

K, let me explain. I am going to the local high school, after a year of public school. Since I moved back out to Indiana I got refilled with the Holy Ghost and have been ON FIRE for God. Well I have a few friends there... but there, well without judging them, they steal sometimes for fun, and I mean they just go a little to far sometimes, I'm cool with egging houses and harmless pranks, but they also swear a lot and have sex. How can I witness to them, not look like a hypocrite, and still fit in with them at school? Usually when I hang out with them I fall and backslide. How can I separate myself but not Isolate myself, and how can I still fit in with them but be a witness?

These seem like they would be a waste of money to me. I mean do people really think that an atheist will be driving along, see the billboard that says "Jesus Loves You", and then would automatically be converted?
I think it cheapens the church and the religion when it advertises Jesus.
I am agnostic, so it is just a thought.
What are your thoughts?

the end i just realized something the dark holes could pretain to a black hole which there is one at the center of our galaxy now the planet earth is supposed to line upexactly with the center will this mean that our lil blue green earth will be sucked from the solar system and nothing else and pulled in or does this mean nothing and we'll continue living on :'(

Someone asked "What do you think fundamentalist Christians believe?"

and an Atheist replied "Fundies believe in ignorance, hate, and bigotry. I think they are the scum of the earth."


And people say Christians are hypocritical? What kind of example does this set for me? Does this atheist really "freely" think, or just conform with what some other atheists believe? Does anyone else this the answer is out of line?

I've read a few who had posted their reasons: 1) Child Sexual abuse. I am not doubting that this happened and it is very unfortunate yet, this have happened to many other religions out there. 2) Trinity: there are so many scriptures proving that Jesus is the Son of God. He Glorified His Father in heaven many times while on Earth. How can they be equal? 3) The issue on Blood. In the very beginning, God had already told Adam that he must not eat blood and this was given to Moses as well. The Apostle Paul also said in his ministry that we must abstain from blood. Transfusing blood directly to your vains (it's actually worse) is the same as eating blood! Some have also said the prophecies made have failed. Are we sure about that? Or we heard only what we wanted to hear and believed what we wanted to believe and when it did not come as expected we blamed the Watchtower society?

I'm asking because i honestly want to know. I'm not starting a debate and I am not a Witness.

the lord of deception and lies (satan) and believe he is real and in this world, then I'd like one logical answer. Wouldn't the greatest deception of them all be one in which he gets millions of people to follow a book he had written. If he is the master of lies, then to degrade himself in the book would make people want to believe in it would it? If you believe in Satan and give him the power I hear ascribed to him, then nothing--even the bible-in this world can not be counted out as a master deception on his part. Either that or he isn't real.

If someone invents a god, and says god punishes murderers, then those who adopt this faith would be less likely to commit murder. Would natural selection therefore favour them?

If, on the other hand, moral relativism prevailed, a larger percentage of the population *may* consider murder to be a valid form of expression, and would not natural selection decrease the population as a result?

Any respectful assistance in understanding the pros and cons of natural selection are welcome.

The best answer will be chosen based on respect, and ability to help me understand natural selection.
