I would believe that Bush actually thinks he talks to aliens.
If you think about it logically aliens have more chance of being real than the bible is.
(Billions of stars billions of planets billions of years logically we aren't the only ones. They may have already died completely but it is statistically probable)

to implement the upsurge of shuttle flights, staging
clean-weapons in space, that won the cold war. They got the idea from Robert Heinlein's book 'The Moon is a Harsh Mistress'. And that is why the shuttles had to go up as fast as they did, without the safety checks, and why the Norton-Thiokol scandal happened.

Writing a book does not make something true. The real issue is whether what you write in your book is true or not. If what you write today is true, then I would expect that what you wrote will still be true two millennia later.
