I would never be embarrassed to be saved, I am forever happy that I know Jesus Christ as my personal savior.

If someone were embarrassed I don't think they would really be a christian, to be a christian means you have Jesus Christ in your heart, why would you be embarrassed to love, A Good Christian will feel the need to spread the good news, so that other people may have the oppourtunity to be saved.

If admitting you are a Christian is embarrassing to you then you are not a very proud Christian. I work at a casino and few people there are religious but I am quick to let them know I am proud of my beliefs. If your "friends" have a problem with your being a Christian than they are not really your friends. You should worry more about your beliefs than how your friends might perceive you. The older you get the more evident this will become to you.

You really shouldnt feel embarassed to say you are a christian. You have a right to your own opinions and beliefs. And just b/c they believe in something different doesnt give them the right judge or make fun. If they are true friends then they wouldnt make fun or put down what you believe. And you shouldnt go against your beliefs just to fit in with them. Its easy to get caught up in that.

why would someone be embarassed to be a Christian? either you were raised in the religion, or you became of that belief by whatever means- if you don't believe your faith is valid for whatever reason, then maybe you need to look at what you believe a little closer, whether Christian, Buddhist, Muslim, or what- the only reason to be embarassed by your faith is if you are unsure it is valid- and I am Christian, by the way.

Stop being ashamed of Jesus if you don't want him to be ashamed of you in front of the father.

I don't say tht to be mean, I am just saying that because you are a Christian, you should be proud. How do you know that your friends might not learn something from you if they knew you were? Maybe you would plant a seed for them to become Christians. Maybe they do the same as you, just don't mention it for fear of persecution.

Stand up and be proud of your God! I pray that God will make you strong!

By telling your friends that you are Christian will really benefit for you because this will show you who are your true friends. The one that don't except it do not deserve to be your friends because God comes first and they would try to stray you away from what you are to be like them. Please, no matter what you choose to say, do not be ashamed to live your life as a Christian should.

The Lord says if you are ashamed of me, I'll be ashamed of you! I never have a problem telling others I am a Christian. I would pray for the Lord to give you strength in this area of weakness you have! As you grow in faith, this won't be a problem! God bless you!

My question to you is what Christian do you know is embarrassed to be known as a Christian. Must be one that is not a Christian at all. Any Christian that truly believes in faith embraces their affiliation to Christianity profoundly.

If you are embarrassed to be a Christian then maybe you shouldn't be a Christian. You have to agree you must feel there is something wrong with it or you wouldn't be embarrassed.

Tell them the truth. I'm in the opposite situation... all of my friends are Christian... except I certainly am not embarrassed to tell anyone I'm Pagan/Heathen (they wouldn't understand Asatruar).
