That is different for each individual. The best religion is the one that you are the most comfortable with and that you find to be the most logical for *you*.

I think theres strengths in all religions who teach the gospel of christ. I'm LDS and have come to love this restored gospel. I believe we need a prophet and apostles from god to give us direction and guidance just like in biblical times. Most have a very high misunderstanding of the book of mormon and think its a book, of mormon secrecy. Its about Christ visiting the americas after his resurrection and teaching a civilization of people the gospel as well. It was recorded on a set of gold plates by an ancient historian and prophet mormon. It was translated by the power of god through joseph smith. I've prayed about it and cant deny I know that its true.

You are wasting your time asking this question. Asking that question is similar to asking you what country is better, whats the best airplane, what temperature is the best, who is the best presidential candidate, or whats the best car company. All these people have thier own opinon. If you act people around you they will probably give you one answer, however if you ask someone in pakistan, you'll get a different answer. Just make you own decision and believe in it with little to no doubt. Thats a good answer.

There is no "Best Religion" its all about your opinion on which one you believe true of for some people, can grasp the complexity of their "Book of ..." Its on an opinion basis and how you feel about the religion that you choose to follow.

This is a matter of opinion. Everyone feels differently. They usually think their religion is best.
The pastor at my church says that it's not the specific religion that you follow, it's how exactly you follow it. Are you very faithful? Do you follow the laws of the religion and repent when you have done wrong? That's what God will care about in the end, NOT the specific religion... Think about it. Would He really only accept, say, Catholics and ban all Protestants, Lutherans, and non-Christian faiths too, from heaven? I don't think so...
Hope this helps!

DEISM. Tomas Jefferson was one so was Ben Franklin and Abe and Madison and Washington. A bunch of others, it was the religous belief of the Philosphers during the Enlightenment. Basically its, There is a God because i have no way of disproving it and a little faith. Do good things your rewarded (regardless of belief). And there are no mircles, God doesnt intervene. Its God+Reason. Close to pantheism as someone said earlier

The best religion is the one that works best for you...that brings you peace and understanding and good will towards other sentient beings.
This also includes Athiesm as a choice, (though it's not a religion).

Really, in todays multi ethnic society, this question is ethically and poltically wrong, wrong , wrong!!
Its all been said- if you are asking as you wish to pursue a religion yourself, then then only answer to that is in yourself, and suited with your own beliefs and lifestyle.
If thats a general question, then it becomes ethically incorrect. One of the reason of so many wars in 3rd world countries sadly- arguments over what religion is best.
Hope this helps.

Trust me. You are starting a fight here. Nobody can say that their religion is the best because none of us no if they are true or not. There is no proof. That is why they are called faiths. You have to have faith in smething that you can't proove. I am Catholic but I am tolerant of other religions because I know these facts.
