the lord of deception and lies (satan) and believe he is real and in this world, then I'd like one logical answer. Wouldn't the greatest deception of them all be one in which he gets millions of people to follow a book he had written. If he is the master of lies, then to degrade himself in the book would make people want to believe in it would it? If you believe in Satan and give him the power I hear ascribed to him, then nothing--even the bible-in this world can not be counted out as a master deception on his part. Either that or he isn't real.

Run down rabbit trails often? Be careful. There's often a snare at the end of them.

Those of The True Christian Faith base our faith on God. Not on any Book...

Satan and the forces of evil indeed have assisted in the writing of many thousands of "books".... The Book of Mormon and the Koran being among the most successful of the deceptions.

Satan's only desire is to deceive the human race. He hates God so much that his sole purpose is to keep God's creations from Heaven. the problem with the arguement that the bible is not by God but by Satan is that the bible brings thought of God into our minds and in some into our hearts, which contradicts Satans plan to keep us from God, reading the bible brings us closer to God, so essentially Satan cannot use the bible to decieve us because the messages of the bible contradicts every aspect of Satan's works. Now for the arguement that the bible is written by men and not God, yes this is true, it is written by men, but, who is to say that they were not driven by God. If the bible was written for the benefit of men, why would the authors of the New Testament write of the same person?(Jesus) Why would they write of the parables to help one another; not to save face but to serve eachother. To give more than to recieve. The stories and the teachings of the bible contradict the characteristics of evil men, which is to deny the presence of a higher being. And, to top off the subject, if the Christian leaders wanted to decieve the people of the earth, why would they allow themselves to be persecuted? Not to mention accept the pain and suffering of their lives as Grace.
People who are against religion from my experience are of two types: one, they do know that there is a higher being, but choose to not accept that, because that means that their secrets and embarrassments are known, and they are too cowardly to face them, they would rather deny the truth of God so that they can convince themselves that what they have done is inexistent. the second type is a selfish type of person. Faith and religion teaches servitude and love for others. The selfish cannot give what they do not recieve. Since the selfish person is always looking to better themselves and to better their own life, they care not of others . Thus, they turn from the thought of God, because their tunnel vision blinds them from any truth. They are too consumed by their own wants.
I could keep going on and on, but at this point, if you cannot understand this, I can only pray for you.

That is a really deep question, and heres my answer. He has but thats reverse psycology. I think that he inspired the book of the Apocrypa (sorry Catholics) and there are many people that believe in that book as well namely the Catholics, and although there were some Christians that werent very good examples and did bad stuff the Catholics were the ones that kept everyone out of the light of the truth in the "dark ages"
Let me know if that helped or made you more confused.

God has power over satan always, God is the Father, The Creator, that is why God gave us The Bible so that we would know the truth, Satan cannot write a book, do you think God would ever permit that, all satan can do is try to fool people into listening to him, and when people turn away from God they are falling right into satans hands.

He can be real and the Bible "could" be a part of his deception. But if you find out that the Bible isn't a part of his deception that doesn't mean he isn't real.
