Truly, the LORD would be ashamed of the vileness and tempting which is rampant in this heathen place! How wretched and sad are we poor sinners, to worship and adore our Vile Temptresses.

How can we ever find our way back to the TRUE path?

According to what I was taught, premarital sex was against the law of God because it was possible to get pregnant out of wedlock.
When condoms were invented and pregnancy out of wedlock was no longer a large concern, the Church said that premarital sex with condoms was still against the law of God because having a barrier degraded the act of intercourse.
When birth control was invented and having a physical barrier was no longer necessary to preventing pregnancy outside of wedlock, the Church said that premarital sex with birth control was still against the law of God because each act of intercourse had to be open to the chance of creating life.
So... this meant that married but infertile couples couldn't have sex? That married women past menopause couldn't have sex with their husbands?
if a couple is purposefully having sex on a night where the woman is not ovulating, isn't that the same as having sex that is not open to creating life?
It's all warped if you ask me.

Matthew 19:21
Jesus said unto him, If thou wilt be perfect, go and sell that thou hast, and give to the poor, and thou shalt have treasure in heaven... Verily I say unto you, That a rich man shall hardly enter into the kingdom of heaven. And again I say unto you, It is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle, than for a rich man to enter into the kingdom of God.

I heard a woman say that all ghosts are really demons who are using the bodies of the deceased to deceive us. Is this a common Christian belief? If so, can you please tell me the Bible passage where this is discussed. Thank you.

My mom always told us that santa clause was just away for satan to still glory from God because kids would praise him more than God himself. she says most kids find out about santa before God and that is wrong for their parent to do that. she says she buys us gifts only because she wants to and she can because God has blessed us so that she can not because some man in a suit allowed it. but now im 24 and with kids of my own and feel the same way and it makes me angry that schools talk about it. so do you thinks santa is right or wrong

You can't really even go to a church anymore, since there are so many hypocrites and false-types entering churches and not really being true at heart.

This country is obviously obsessed with power, money, well hell that's the world. You have to worry about every little thing, security, money, health even, education, the list goes on endlessly.

God/Spirituality is seen as leisure time, something u do in your free time to relax, it's not taken seriously at all.

Many don't even believe in it because they think it's utter B*llshit, and go back to their own, conniving, manipulating, scheming lives, working and devising ways to get ahead and make money.

At the end of the day isn't this sad? You become another player, who's bound to get caught up in life, and ultimately don't really care about other humans, to a degree that a person of god would. God is/was supposed to be a symbol of GOOD. Nowadays, the idea annoys people, and on here they give you the thumbs down. why?

Read Matthew the 2nd chapter. The star appeared & moved. The "Wise men" followed it. First it led them to an evil king named Herod. He questioned them to know why they were there. The star waited! Herod slyly told them to go on & find the child (Jesus), that he also wanted to worship him, to know his whereabouts. The star again moved & led them to the home (not a stable like the xmas nativity scenes depict) where Jesus as a young child was living. They gave their gifts & slept. During sleep God's angel warns them to not return to the king, he wants to kill Jesus. They go home a different route. Jehovah's angel also tells Joseph to take his family & escape to Egypt, he does. Herod knows his plot has been disrupted, in a rage sends his soldiers out to kill all baby boys in the district under the age of 2 (fulfilled prophecy). Jehovah had to intervene to save his son. So, who put that star in the sky? Satan is referred to as an angel of light at 2 Cor 11:14.

Be careful of Satan's lies.

How can you pray when depressed. And what if you're in a situation you don't want to be in and its bringing you baggage and confining your life and your family's yet your huband doesn't realize the bondage he has placed you, all of you, in.
What if he wants to change plans and go do something else now and your left holding the bag.

Recently a Christian on here stated that often what is called 'greed' (i.e. two cell phones, two cars, enormous refigerator, , etc) is really just 'ambition', not 'greed'.

As a Christian, where do you think that ambition ends and greed begins?

Do you feel you exhibit greed in any way?

How do you gauge it?

Is it pursuing, possessing or eating more than you 'need', or so much pizza you throw it away while your neghbours homeless starve?

Or is it a moving target, is it relative?
