the other have corrupted portions of scripture.
if your dying of thirst in the desert and i have 2 canteens one with pure water and one with dirt in it. they both will save you but one will make you sick after. Other versions have enough gospel in them because God loves you and wants you saved.
I can lead a person to Christ from the book of Mormon but it is not a bible.

I recommend the Layman's study Bible, that's composed of four distinctive English translations, shown area-via-area on one web site. Why 4? by way of fact no version of the Bible is thoroughly "greater beneficial" than any others. It only actual relies upon on what might meet your needs the main suitable on the 2nd. Do you % greater of a "be conscious for be conscious" translation? that would be the recent American normally occurring Bible (NASB). do you % greater of a paraphrastic interpretation in trouble-free and elementary conversational American English examining of the Bible? that would be the living Bible. do you % one for greater religiously aesthetic, formal and/or liturgical use? that would be the King James Bible(KJV). Or, do you % one that is greater suitable contextually and maximum extensively study via people in the present day? that would be the recent worldwide version (NIV). All 4 of those variations make up the Layman's study Bible. that is been certainly the main suitable ingredient yet for me! To be forewarned is to be forearmed, so I additionally recommend staying far off from biased and "too loose" variations like the recent worldwide Translation of the Holy Scriptures (NWT), that's printed via the Jehovah Witness' cult; or the Message, which takes completely too many liberties and can do greater to lie to than make sparkling.

I don't like any organised religion. I want to think freely about God and how can I communicate with him. Not with set formula.
