From everything I've read on Christian websites, books, and heard from preachers, I've gotten the vibe that the majority of Christians truly hate gays, atheists, etc. Basically anyone with differentiating religious/sexual beliefs.

However, I know that the media does not speak for everyone.
So, what's your opinion on these groups?

i was reading some things about Joseph Smith as you know its hard to know what 2 believe so i'm giving Mormons an opportunity to clear it up.heres a section from a website..(It should be quite obvious that present scholarship has revealed that Joseph Smith did not translate the Book of Abrham by the power of God as he had claimed. We know for a certainty that the partial translation of the Kinderhook plates was obviously not a divinely inspired translation as well. It follows that if he did not translate the Book of Abraham by the power of God, and he did not translate the Kinderhook plates by the power of God, then it would be very easy to conclude that he did not translate the Book of Mormon by the power of God either. Obviously Joseph Smith had a vivid imagination and was perfectly capable of simply making up "translations" of real and imagined ancient texts.here is a link to the site http://josephlied.com/what.html

I think it is important as a Christian to challenge atheist claims as it strengthens our faith and it is good to question what we believe because if it is true, we will come back to it.

Here's the argument:

Atheists say that if there is no God and no Heaven, then that means that psychics who communicate with the dead are full of it.

Here's my rebuttal:

While I'm sure SOME psychics might be fakes, some are NOT. There are too many correct readings for it to be a coincidence. You could say it is, but you would be WRONG.

Look at shows like Crossing Over that showed psychics knowing intricate facts about dead relatives they COULD NOT POSSIBLY know. Once somebody hits it on the nail literally HUNDREDS and HUNDREDS of times, you have to think that maybe there is something to this.

Agree?

Atheists are nothing but people that have made up their mind and are not open to new evidence.

I will go first: ...... Accidentally hitting my elbow

(I don't call it a "funny bone" cause it is not a bit funny to me when I hit it.)

And yes they do happen, people have been healed of being blind, deaf, lame, and even dead in recent spiritual missions and crusades. Not to mention the little things that happen in hospitals and such everyday.

I know that God answers prayers. I know that the answers might not be how I want them answered or when I want them answered. But lately, for the past few months my prayers are not being answered at all. It is really worrying me and things are going wrong. I even pray with another person..."Matthew 18:20 For where two or three are gathered together in my name, there am I in the midst of them."

Okay, I went to my school's vollyball game today and this kid comes up and steals my hat. He was wearing cross around his neck too! I had to get a cop to chase him down, "nobody is getting my hat." Later. this same kid was grabbing at girl's breats. Does wearing a cross let him do this? I wouldn't know. I know nothing about religion!

After he was done grabbing I asked him if his church encourages being a thief and sexual harrassment to teens. He didn't answer.

what i am asking here is, out of the population of all humankind estimated to have lived these last 6 or 7 thousands years, how many were around to have even have heard of the christian god and the gospel?

It would be a rough estimate of course, we are not that sure how many people lived in early human history.

what if human like every other animal is just simply a product for the universe? like a lily in apond that cant hole water evean though its in the water? feral children are children brought up by animals and in turn became animals and a chimpanzee brought up by humans adopted the charachteristics of a human, it seems to me like were not all that diffrent. And with thereorys of the soul and ghosts being souls that go against nature just to stay where they are living in a diffrent dimension.
It all seems to connect together, parubruba said not to eat animals, i think he could be reffering to reincarnation and how they are reincarnated humans and us being more in tune with nature with our destructive sides out of the way.
