ok i have heard like the world is supposed to end like the mayans predicted...if the world really is going to ""end""" then wut day would that be

The Mayans didn't predict the end of the world. (That's people reading something into the "end of the calendar age".)

I think they just saw no need to create a new calendar until the one they were using was obsolete - which didn't come close to occurring.

Rest easy. You must know that none of the myriad "end of the world" predictions have been accurate yet, 'eh?

The Mayans, as far as I know didn't really predict the end of the world, and even if they did, they didn't do so well with predicting the fall of their civilization. I'd rate their creditablility as really low.

The world is not going to end. Life as we know it is going to end.

What I mean is that when Jesus comes to earth and sets up his kingdom, the devil is locked away in chains.

Temptation will not exist. And mankind will live according to the ways of the Lord.

It will like heaven on earth. It says that the lion will lie along side of the lamb in the field.

And for 1000 years, there will be peace and love.

Yet, the devil is set free at the end of the 1000 years where he will again be allowed to tempt mankind.

And all those who follow him will suffer his same fate. They will be cast into the lake of fire and brimstone for all eternity.

The heaven and the earth that exist now will be destroyed and a new heaven and earth will be created. And all who loved God will spend eternity is paradise where God will satisfy their every need. He will be to them a Father and they will be to him his children.



As for the mayan calender, don't pay attention to it.

When will Jesus come to earth? I believe within the next 10 to 15 years.

One sure sign of his coming is the continuing growth of evil on earth.

The same was in the days of Noah. Mankind had become som evil, that their every thought was evil. With the exception of the eight who God saved on the ark.

So as we watch evil continue to grow on this earth, you will see men saying there is no God or they will blame God for what their very sins have brought upon them. Evil will continue to grow until it is destroyed by the Son of God. And it will be destroyed by the brightness of his coming.

Are these things not happening now?

Jesus could come at any minute. He could even become before I get this answer typed.
