I've heard Christians say that if any Christian has sin in their life, God will turn a deaf hear to them when they pray and that God will turn his face away from them. They believe this because of Psalm 66:18. But in the following 2 verses after that it clearly says that, "God hath heard me, He hath attended to the voice of my prayer..blessed be God which hath not turned away my prayer or His mercy from me." And in Hebrews 13:5 He promises that HE will never leave or forsake us.
Does that not go against the teachings of Christ?

...or does it actually say specifically that it is 6000 years old?

Please note; I am not asking IF the Earth is 6000 years old...I am asking how it has been calculated as that.

The first bands to pioneer the style were mostly thrash metal bands that formed the prototype for black metal; they are referred to collectively as the First Wave, and consist of a few bands, such as Venom and Bathory. In the late 1980s and early 1990s, a Second Wave emerged in Norway, including prominent bands like Mayhem and Darkthrone. Although there is no well-defined Third Wave, modern black metal bands have incorporated new musical and lyrical trends into their music.
* Unconventional song structures, devoid of typical verse/chorus segments, and contain extended or repetitive instrumental passages.

Some black metal artists have burned churches, because the Christians forced their religion upon them.NO ONE HAS THE RITE TO CRUSH ONES BELIVES!CHURCH ARSONS ARE SICK THINGS AND THOSE PEOPLE SHOULD STAY IN JAIL!
BUT NO ONE HAS THE RITE TO FORCE THEIR RELIGION UPON OTHERS.THE CHRISTIANS HAD NO RITE TO DO THOSE THINGS BACK IN HISTORY!AGREE?

There are many theories. Gradualism (slow evolution), Punctuated Equilibria (fast evolution), and Theistic Evolution (caused by God). If it is true, why are there so many theories?

We Muslims believe that the GOD is utterly transcendent.
He dosn't any Sons. He dosn't born. and He dosn't any partner .
he is utterly transcendent. he isn't matterial.
we belive that the god put his spirit in Holy Marry and then Yeshua has born.
This speach is a big lie about GOD.

Everyone knows Mount Rushmore was the result of intelligent design.

Laws of science show that it takes more faith to be an atheist then it does to believe in God.

Then why did he not write it (or tell someone) in such a way as it's content would be debated over for centuries and from which countless denominations(or cults if you prefer) would spring?

I know in Jewism, he has created us like himself. In Islam we are the representative of God on Earth and in Christianity Jesus himself is the son of God.

This seems to happen only when I meet people who are part of some Christian religion. (Catholic, Witnesses, general Christians, etc)

They state something from the bible, or say something like.. "Because thats the way the lord says ________"
I usually respectfully state that I do not believe in what they do and that I respect their beliefs, but that I'd appreciate that they don't preach to me.

You'd figure they would respect this, but 9 times out of 10 they don't. A religious argument ensues, and I wind up in the end with yet another person who dislikes me because of religious differences..

It's almost always the same, and after so many years of it happening, it's starting to get REALLY irksome.

Since before I understood anything at all about gravity, I knew it was really there - I experienced it. That isn't at all equal to what I've known about God. In fact, it's quite the opposite.

Did you have a different experience ? I'll bet you can't say "Yes" without fibbing.

Scientists don't seem to "get" god yet they're the ones doing all the looking. Violent criminals seem to have a much easier time. Why? Do criminals have a clearer way of seeing things than those trained and practised at observation?
