There are many theories. Gradualism (slow evolution), Punctuated Equilibria (fast evolution), and Theistic Evolution (caused by God). If it is true, why are there so many theories?

Really good question! Darwin proposed gradual evolution. Neodarwinians (such as Stephen Jay Gould) elaborated on Darwinian theory to introduce the concept of punctuated equilibria.
You raise an interesting point - why different viewpoints? The reason is that science is always questioning its own paradigms. In this way we expand on studies that have come before, and by elaborating on their results we can expand our existing knowledge base.
Contrast this to christianity: blind belief in an ancient book without any critical thought or advancement in interpretation or understanding.

Because its so easy to make one up. For example, if a day of Gods Creation was 660 million years in the phsyical Universe, then it would correspond to the slow evolution and major geological periods on Earth.
The major point of disagrement with Science and the Christian God doing the creating would then largely disappear

Theistic Evolution isn't a theory, it is a hypothesis. Both gradualism and punctuated equilibrium fit with the current evolutionary theory. So I guess my answer is that I believe in the current evolutionary theory. Actually, it is more accurate for me to say I accept it.

Wine is pressed from fresh grapes from a vine and then casked and aged...the older the wine...the more aged it is the more alcohol is fermented by the adding of sugars and enzymes which break down the sugars and turn them into alcohol. This takes time...new wine or vintage wine..either way...takes time. Christ's first miracle was to take water at the wedding feast in Cana and turn it into wine. I don't believe this took several weeks or even a year much less 20 years. I believe He spoke it and it instantiously occured. Yet, this wine was tasted and reported as being even better than the first wine served at the feast which is uncommon. Most hosts would have saved the worst for last and yet, this wine was the best for last. It takes 9 months to grow a baby in a mothers womb from conception to birth and yet God formed a person in from the dust of the ground and breathed life into Him in one day. Time, age and quality or quanity are not things that God is required to consider when creating. If a fig tree can be withered in a single instant never to bring forth fruit again, if water can be walked upon, a storm called to cease and blow away for clear skies...I think that an entire earth could be created in 6 days...actually, only one.
Genesis 1
9And God said, Let the waters under the heaven be gathered together unto one place, and let the dry land appear: and it was so.
10And God called the dry land Earth; and the gathering together of the waters called he Seas: and God saw that it was good. (Pangaea - a well known geological fact)
11And God said, Let the earth bring forth grass, the herb yielding seed, and the fruit tree yielding fruit after his kind, whose seed is in itself, upon the earth: and it was so.
12And the earth brought forth grass, and herb yielding seed after his kind, and the tree yielding fruit, whose seed was in itself, after his kind: and God saw that it was good.
I believe that earth could be pressed down and shaken together, to settle and form and drift as is necessary to create a habitation suitable as He sees fit. The Bible tells us many truths about our world that weren't even conceptual by so called men of learning long before "science" emerged to tell us what was what and how old and so forth. So what is the truth? I'll tell you. If there is a God and He is so powerful, omnipotent and infinite as to have control over each and every atom of matter in existance and brought those atoms or molecules into existance...doesn't it follow that He could put it all together and form it to be any way He wants? Would it be a big thing for Him? Manipulating elements would in fact be nothing of any consequence whatsoever. To us, maybe...not to Him. I don't believe in evolution. I believe in an all knowing, all powerful, pure and Holy God who can do with me or any other object whatever He wants...Love in Christ, ~J~

I don't believe in evolution.
SHORTLY after Charles Darwin made the theory of evolution popular, many so-called Christian denominations started looking for ways to marry their belief in God to their acceptance of the theory of evolution.
Today, most prominent “Christian” religious groups seem willing to accept that God must have used evolution in some way to create life. Some teach that God preprogrammed the universe to develop in such a way that living things inevitably evolved from lifeless chemicals and eventually produced mankind. Those who subscribe to this teaching, known as theistic evolution, do not feel that God interfered with the process once it started. Others think that, in general, God allowed evolution to produce most families of plants and animals but occasionally stepped in to move the process along. To undermine belief in the creation account in Genesis is to undermine the very foundations of the Christian faith. Evolutionary theory and the teachings of Christ are incompatible. Any attempt to marry these beliefs can only give birth to a weak faith that is prone to being “tossed about as by waves and carried hither and thither by every wind of teaching.”—Ephesians 4:14.

There's a scientific theory - punctuated equilibrium - backed up by loads of evidence, which no one can prove not to be true. Then there are religious theories that attempt to show that God created the planet e.g. theistic evolution and intelligent design and there's no evidence to back these up.

All aspects of Evolution are true,Christian Creation is false,
as to Create some thing you have to have a mould, and God would need to be real and not a Ghost to use the mould.Christians what you are preaching is pure B/S and most of us can read you like a book, now the peace is not with you and your Flying spaghetti monster is a collective lot of CRUD !!!!

The problem here is that you think that it's a good thing to pick and answer and stick with it regardless of the facts.
Scientists, of course, think that's a very bad thing.
That's because scientists are interested in learning what is really true, while religious people are bent on simply defending their existing beliefs, regardless of whether or not they're true.
Now we could simply pick one set of details and announce that these are the true facts about the origin of species, never to be questioned. That's what you're asking for here, but of course that's not science, and it has nothing whatsoever to do with truth or honesty.
Your question could be rewritten to read
"Why aren't scientists narrow-minded enough to pick one explanation and stick with it, regardless of the truth, like creationists are?".

Slow and fast are relative terms. Insects can evolve fairly quickly, because they have short life spans and numerous offspring. Animals that have longer lives and fewer offspring take more time to evolve. So evolution can take place at different rates for different creatures. God doesn't have a role in it.
