The History channel did a special on the Hittites, mentioned in the Bible. There was no archaeological evidence of their existence until the 1980's or so.

Read Steve Berry's latest novel "The Alexandria link"

That book theorizes that the original translations from the Hebrew were not accurate (and since man is the translator, not god - that means man wrote the bible), and therefore most of the old testament and all of the new testament is wrong.

Then look up Kamal Salibi and Ron Wyatt in Wikipedia and check out their stuff. .

The Bible does not "tutor" technology. the classic thought that blood represented the "life tension" of an animal probable observed from an remark of what got here approximately once you drained it of blood. The earth is a sphere. nicely confident, the Greeks knew that, and quite probably the classic Hebrews did too, regardless of in the event that they now and lower back used picturesque language. however the main you could set up is that folk in biblical cases did no longer constantly carry the ideals atheists prefer to credit them with.

God designed the Bible so that we either believe all of it or none of it. There is plenty of evidence to prove that it is true in every aspect. You may want to go to the library or Christian Book store and get some reading materials . There are plenty of them out there. God will bless you for searching out the truth.

Anything by Lee Strobel is a lie, unscientific and unsupported by facts, which is why he makes such a great living from his mega church and books. Easy to read nonsense.

If you'd like to examine the works of the noted Israeli archaelologist Israel Finkelstein, please do. He deals with the evidence, not suppositions.

Sure.
There really is an Israel.
Babylon existed.
You can probably find a handful of things out of that entire book that actually existed.
Unfortunately, God and Jesus aren't among them.
