prayers are answered in the form of...
yes...
no...
and wait...
so i could pray to... a cookie.
"will i ever get iphone"
if i get it tomorrow or today its a yes.
if i get it next year its a wait.
if i never get it its a no.
and this works for every thing.

I've had a lot of prayers answered. The most important one yet was my dad receiving Christ 4 days before he passed away this May. He was a lifelong Atheist and some said it would never happen. Anything is possible with God. My preacher says God answers all prayers, it's just that He doesn't always say yes. Be sure you are asking for things that are in His will. I am praying that my husband and son will stop smoking, I know that it is not Gods will for them to harm their bodies that way and it's damaging their wittness. I know He is dealing with them about it. I just have to be patient and wait on Him to move. But I don't always have patience and it drives me crazy sometimes.God bless!!

He does answer prayer, but sometimes in ways we do not expect or like. Other times our prayers are not sincere enough. We just use God as a way of solving all our problems. He wants to solve them, but He also wants to develop a real relationship with us. And prayer is the key in developing a relationship with God if the prayer comes truly from our hearts.

First of all, why would you say He doesn't answer ANYBODY'S prayers. Are you everybody? Or do you know everybody? I'm sorry to say, my friend, that your question is a fallacy.
Now, God answers prayers when they are according to His will. He has answered my prayers and the prayers of many I know that believe in Him. If you are afraid that you will look like a moron for believing in God (which is what all our witty and smart atheist friends are trying to do on Yahoo Answers), then you are missing out the best in your life because of your pride. Don't do that!

Not everyone is a Child of God. Jesus Christ said a person must be Born Again in order to become a child of God.
Physical Birth does not grant us the right to have our prayers answered.

Asking God for an answered prayer is like asking a total stranger for $1000.
Build a loving, intimate relationship with God before you start asking Him for cool stuff. Just because you didn't realize the answer or like the answer doesn't mead that God ignored you.
Also, try praying to God and focus on His holiness instead of your desires. God never gets tired of hearing people worship Him.
God also loves perseverance, or long suffering. Keep at it. Everytime you continue to turn to God after you think He has rejected your prayer, He begins to believe you actually mean it. I know that's simplistic, but it's a relationship, not a welfare line.

God answers all the prayers that you get answered. You'd be in real bad luck if he never gets you a single prayer or wish answered. God takes full credit, of course!

Right on, Al Mosko! Thumbs up! Yeah, I'd have to say that I always get answers. No, it wasn't always like this: me realizing that GOD answers my prayers. But it was only because I was indoctrinated by religion which tried to censor my relationship with GOD by telling me what is genuine communication with the Creator and what communication came from spookism monster town. Lol! To each his own but GOD has been more real to me since I separated myself from from particular schools of thought. Every since then I see GOD moving and I know when he answers my prayers!

Nothing like making a blatant statement with nothing to back it up!
Of course He answers prayers. He does it all the time. He answers my prayers. It would be good if you got to know Him first! God Bless

I've yet to have a prayer that was not answered in over 50 years of praying. Sometimes the answers has been "yes" and sometimes "no". But they are always answered.

god always answers your prayers, sometimes it is just not in the way that you expect it to be answered. You just have to believe, and everything will work out in the end!! ;)
