I made a comment in another question that stated "I do not think bush is a Christian." I got a ton of thumbs down. Wow, are there that many Christians out there that really think he is. The man is nothing short of the anti Christ IMHO.

So this question is open to all...How many think Bush is a Christian and why or why not.

I have designed a confession booth with a bathroom attachment. You see, I spend so much time in there confessing, that I got tired of taking bathroom breaks. I figure there are other sinners out there like me...

I have also designed one with a ventilation hole at about the priest's eye level for people with asthma, somehow I don't think that will sell very well.

Those born under the water signs (scorpio, cancer, pisces) r sensitive people. So do u think that they are sensitive enough to have the ability to be more spiritual (e.g psychic or sensitive to things of the other realm - like spirits) than other people?

Do u think that God ensured they were born under these water signs, in order for them to find this spiritual path - as this will be easier to accomplish with sensitive souls?

It seems like evil, sin, or badness is generally just so vicious, and aggressive, and in a sense will "run you over," either with the purpose of destroying your spirit, or what you stand for, or trying to overpower you.

People with bad intentions, or screwed up people just seem to be soooooo set in their ways, and what not.

Good people or normal people just mind their own business, and they preach their mantra but not in an aggressive way. The ones that go out of their way are "bad."

Why is it that the bad ones always feel the need to dominate, and overpower?

If there is a "satan," it would seem that he and his followers possess traits of aggression, anger, vileness, hostility, fierceness, just SO much crap.

WHERE is all this negativity coming from?

Are these people just born that way, trashy, or what makes them act these ways?

I notice it ranging from road rage, to cursing/screaming, violence, catty remarks, etc etc.

What's their problem?

People tend to blame God for all of the evil in this world. It seems contradictory to me that the people who say God does not exist, ALSO says why could "GOD" let all the bad things happen to people? Well here is the answer. We blame others for our own mistakes. God allows us to live with the choices we make. This goes for everyone in the world. Evil happens because of peoples bad choices. If a person decides to kill then it was that persons choice. Bad things happen to people, that is life.

We just moved here and are looking for a church. We want something contemporary, casual but with really strong exegetical teaching. We also need lots of activities for the entire family (AWANA - or something like it, bible studies, small groups, etc.) Is there anything like this around the Maryland Heights area?

Because I see so much touted around these pages about anti-religion and Christianity, I am willing to give all those with an emotional bent to air their pet peeves against Christianity, or for it!! All are welcome, regardless of your affiliation or non-affiliation with a doctrine. The word here is vent. This makes absolutely no sense! How can you actually believe that having faith in Jesus as your savior is going to allow you to go to heaven?

I mean, I just can not understand where you come to the conclusion that this is rational.

It seems that there is faith built in one idea upon another with absolutely no evidence and for some reason it makes sense to you. How could this possibly make sense to you? You are not dumb, most of you are rational in so many other thoughts but this one just takes the cake.

Every question I ask to Christians seems to always be side stepped, it is like you don't even realize what I am asking or refuse to realize what I am asking you.
