Would you rather have a just God who gives everyone (across the board) the freedom to choose Him or not and live your life just as you please?
OR
a just God who (across the board) dictates every aspect of your life to ensure that nothing bad happens to a single person on the planet?

The hands off God gives you the freedom to drink AND the freedom to kill a teenager in vehicular manslaugter when you drive home trashed from your buddy's house.

The controlling God opens up the earth and destroys anything sinful on the spot across the board....no exceptions.

I ask because for all the bristling at the NOTION of God telling them how to live their OWN lives....those are the same people trying to defame God because He DOESNT intervene in OTHER folks lives to stop suffering around the world.

....good grief. .your freedom to DEFY God is the same freedom that perpetrates the EXISTENCE of suffering.

So embrace all the sin your freedom affords or shaddup.

why must we be taught it, if it is true? if there is a great being who created everyone and will punish you if you dont believe. why did he create us without any knowledge of his existance...?

doing this only causes more people to suffer. his choice lead us to our consequences?

What are the chances that God will make someone magically pregnant at this time?

I'm serious.

Like how it happened to Mary.
Mary was a virgin, wasn't she? Then came Jesus...

Anyway, just answer the question...

But I mean, is it possible? He could do whatever he wants right?

Why did Allah pick Muhammed and dozens of others to memorize the quran, long before it was ever written? Why didn't he choose a smart, charismatic scribe to spread the Arabic version of the old testament? And why all the others? How do we know, out of all the others who allegedly "received" Allah's message from Gabriel, along with Mohammad, that Mohammed was Not the real prophet but simply the first one to yell, "I'm the prophet! And nobody else is! You better believe that because god told me!"

Some humans are shy, timid, depressed, ugly, slow talkers...etc...

These are things that some of us are born with.

Why did a loving creator create such imperfections in humans?

Clearly, the Bible declares that men wrote the Bible as lead and inspired by the Holy Spirit!

This is why the Bible itself refers itself as “the word of God” and the “holy scriptures”.

Furthermore, which of the following were written by “Catholics”???
Genesis, Exodus, Leviticus, Numbers, Deuteronomy, Joshua, Judges, Ruth, 1 Samuel, 2 Samuel, 1 Kings, 2 Kings, 1 Chronicles, 2 Chronicles, Ezra, Nehemiah, Esther, Job, Psalm, Proverbs, Ecclesiates, Song of Solom, Isaiah, Jeremiah, Lamentations, Ezekiel, Daniel, Hosea, Joel, Amos, Obadiah, Jonah, Micah, Nahum, Habakkuk, Zephaniah, Haggai, Zechariah???

NONE! ALL were written by JEWS before Jesus Christ established the “church”.

OK – how about the New Testament?
Matthew – a JEW who believe Jesus was the Jewish Messiah
Mark – a JEW who believe Jesus was the Jewish Messiah
John – a JEW who believe Jesus was the Jewish Messiah

Did you come to believe in God by logical reasoning? Did Aquinas proofs really convince you? Did you decide to take Pascal up on his wager?

If not, what did show you God was real? Was it, perhaps, God Himself?

If so, why are you arguing with atheists who have (obviously) not been called by God?

Proverbs 21:2
Every way of a man is right in his own eyes, but the LORD weighs the heart.

Those who did what was "right" in the eyes of the Lord, in the Bible, they were BLESSED, and God continually kept them under the shadow of His wing. Those who walked according to His ways it says:
2 Chronicles 34:2
And he did what was right in the eyes of the LORD, and walked in the ways of David his father; and he did not turn aside to the right hand or to the left.

God is all-knowing which includes all-seeing and more. God knows what you look like and what your surroundings look like from every possible angle over the course of your entire life. God never stops looking, because if God did, then God would not be "all seeing" anymore! So an all-knowing, all-seeing God is definitely watching when you shower.

Theists, do you think about this? God watching you in the shower, soaping up your body is like having 1000 video cameras pointed at you from every angle - does that bother you?

It wouldn't bother me. People who claim that God looks away while they shower are probably the same people who think they can sin because God is not paying attention. An all knowing (and therefore all-seeing) God is ALWAYS paying attention. What do you think?
