For the most part, all my childhood fairs are unfounded but there are still a few as an adult that get me.

I still am afraid to leave my doors unlocked after nightfall for fear, not of the Boogeyman, but of people out to do harm to innocent folks.

Other than that, no.

When I was a little girl, I had a nightmare that the cookie monster was chasing me; I was terrified but I finally could run no further so I sat down, he ran up to me and then shook my hand and introduced himself.
I've found that it's often like that...the moments building up to the event are worse than the actual event.
IE: When I was younger, I did dinner theater. I always was nervous before starting a show but was fine after the first few minutes.
Edit: Also it helps to confront your fear. IE (again) I drowned when I was little and my parents enrolled me in swimming lessons right after that. I was scared at first, of course, but I love to go swimming now.
As far as death goes, it'seems scary at first but it can't be that bad.

Not until I had to confront them. Then I was like, well this isn't so bad. haha

I am not afraid of many things though. Never have been, but for some reason big cock roaches freak me out more then anything else. My friend was afraid of getting a paper cut in the eye. I always thought that was strange.

Edit: haha It blocked out what I wrote. I wasn't talking about that type of cock. lol

I was always afraid of drowning. After nearly drowning a couple of times, I cant say that drowning ISNT that scary after all....its friggin FRIGHTENING.

Otherwise, Im not frightened of much else. Used to hate spiders - now I have a pet tarantula...they arent as scary as once thought by me...

No most of the things I am afraid warrant me fear. It's mostly things happening to my kids.
I do have fears with in relationships, but that's a trust thing more then fear.
Other then that no I'm no afraid of much.

There is nothing that I fear now, Life is hard enough for my demographic as it is but JESUS said in Matthew 10 verse 28

[28] And fear not them which kill the body, but are not able to kill the soul: but rather fear him which is able to destroy both soul and body in hell

Man and beast can only kill me once but my faith will let me live forever.

That's why I fear no man or beast.

GOD is LOVE and JESUS SAVES

No, there are lots of scary things, I just found I can't do much about many of them. So I do what I can, make mistakes & try not to make them over again.

Spiders are still as scary as ever..
Otherwise, there's so much wisdom in FDR's words: "there's nothing to fear but fear itself"

That I do. I am reminded of a quotation
"The things you fear the most, never happen."

I wonder if that would apply here.
