Christians claimed that Bible consists of many books, each has an author may differs from the author of other books.
Muslims claimed that Qur'aan has one author (the only one real God who created everything)

Both believe their books are Holy Scripture, revealed by God.

Muhammad (founder of Islam) had revelations from God and his 'secretary' wrote down what Muhammad said. Has not been changed, still in Arabic as it was written down in the 7th century.

The Bible is completely different. The individual books were written by different people over hundreds of years, many books by word of mouth. There were several 'Bibles" put together by Christians (including Catholics) early on, but King James (hence the King James Version) in the 15/1600's commissioned all the books to be put together into one book. Unfortunately, they were written in a very old arameic language, which was translated into Greek, etc, etc, to where there are dozens of "translations" now of the Bible that say they are the correct translations from the original texts.

actual. yet neither Greek nor Hebrew are ineffective languages. Translation is a question of no rely if to render an unique artwork in be conscious-for-be conscious or concept-for-concept format. that is not a question of determining if the unique text fabric pronounced "Thou shalt no longer kill" or "Thou shalt provide Moses a million/2 of each thing." the technique of translation would not substitute the meaning of the unique text fabric. what's extra, stable archaeology exhibits that the contents of scripture have not been altered over the years. The message that we've had for 2100 years because of the fact the hiding of the ineffective Sea Scrolls remains unchanged. Translation of the Bible (and a brilliant sort of different records) are oftentimes accomplished by ability of committees of linguistic experts. those translators are consistently user-friendly, and their credentials would properly be confirmed. there is one exception: the "translators" of the recent international Translation at the instant are not publicly user-friendly, and their credentials can't be confirmed. they are contributors of the Jehovah's Witnesses, and the translation that they convey includes doctrine it particularly is amazingly distinctive in meaning than the different translation by ability of the different team. The Jehovah's Witnesses are a cult, and their version of scripture is to be pronounced faraway from. in any different case, any undemanding translation of the Bible is definitely honest.

God is the true author for the right way.
This is within all of our hearts. But in the books we put our trust in the people who wrote them and hope all of it is authentic.
In terms of the Bible, much has been lost and reconstructed.
But the Quran has remained exact in all of its verses that are like poetry - so every missing or wrong word or verse would break the entire thing.

Christians know that the Holy Spirit directed the bible to be written by many authors. All 66 books of the bible are inspired by The Holy Spirit.

For twenty-three years, God's words (the Qur'an) were truly put into Muhammad's (pbuh) mouth. The Qur’an was dictated to Muhammad (pbuh) by Angel Gabriel, who asked him to simply repeat the words of the Qur'an as he heard them. These words were then committed to memory by the Prophet and hundreds of companions during Muhammad's lifetime and under his supervision.

There is a divine promise to protect the last and final revelation to mankind and this “book” would first be written on the hearts of the believers……. not paper. It is a miracle for all of mankind till the last day and a Mercy from God. To this day millions of Muslims memorize the entire Quran from cover to cover.

Was it a coincidence that the prophet "like unto Moses" from the "brethren" of the Israelites (i.e. from the Ishmaelites) was also described as one in whose mouth God will put his words and that he will speak in the name of God., ( Deuteronomy 18:18-20 ). Was it also a coincidence the "Paraclete" that Jesus foretold to come after Him was described as one who "shall not speak of himself, but whatsoever he shall hear, that shall he speak (John 16:13).

Isaiah ties between the messenger connected with Ke'dar and a new song (a scripture in a new language) to be sang unto the Lord (Isaiah 42:10-11 ). More explicitly, prophesies Isaiah "For with stammering lips, and another tongue, will he speak to this people" (Isaiah 28:11 ). This latter 'verse correctly describes the "stammering lips" of Prophet Muhammad reflecting the state of tension and concentration he went through at the time of revelation. Another related point is that the Qur'an was revealed in piece-meals over a span of twenty-three years. It is interesting to compare this with Isaiah 28:10 which speaks of the same thing.

there is no authers,
he bible and more specifically the Gosepls and the Quran are divine revelation sent down from god to his ppl through his messangers to guide them. BUT...
the goseples of jesus got distorted through times by its followers and not divine any more
so the Quran came after that as a continuation , and the completion of the previous divine revelation AND God has promised to entrust his last book and he kept his promise till now the Quran has never changed and valide for all times , besides its miracles......

Why only for Christians or Muslims if this atheist knows the answer to both?

Christians believe that the Bible was authored by several people, and that it was all inspired by God.

Muslims believe that the Quran was dictated to Mohhamed, who was illiterate, and was passed on orally at first. The Quran was not written down until many years later, when they had many people write what they thought Mohhamed had said, and then Imams picked and chose what sections they found to be "Allah inspired."
