I get these emails, many of them daily updating me to the latest and earliest reported news not only in America but worldwide from the Associate Press. Here is the latest:

"President Bush has vetoed a bill expanding a children's health insurance program, setting up an override battle with Congress"

What does Psalms 145: 3 - 4 tell us?
------------
Do not put YOUR trust in nobles,
Nor in the son of earthling man, to whom no salvation belongs.

His spirit goes out, he goes back to his ground;
In that day his thoughts do perish.

Earthly nobles = government, worldly authorities.

So dumb ole Bush would rather continue funding a deadly, most useless war having just poured another $78Billion into it recently, but he would veto proper insurance and health care for the children of even our own country?

Bush is a bigoted tyrant and I know God will take him out as take out all worldly gubmints at Armageddon. I despise these men who call themselves "gubmint leaders"! Slobs!

I am not a believer of evolution but I feel that in order to be more educated on what it is I feel I need to read what Darwin actually wrote and said. I do admit I am just repeating what I have been told and read from critics of Darwin and evolution. How many of you that support evolution have read "Origin of Species: By Means of Natural Selection"? Did you think it was an informative and accurate book?

I recently got a book from the library (and shame on me for not remembering the title) that had a great interpretation of how the Sabbats relate to your every day life. Like one is a time for "planting the seeds" of whatever we need to change in our lives, one is for reflection on the past year, one is for "harvesting" the benefits of the "seeds" we planted earlier.

Has anyone read this book or do you know what I'm talking about? It had something like that for every Sabbat, and I was really excited about it, but I had returned the book without writing it down.

Many many thanks,
and Blessed Be.

ever wonder why Christianity is the most beat-up religion on this site?because people feel threatened by it. what they dont understand is that the God they either hate or dont believe in loves them with His entire being. hmm....but please, dont ask a question just to ridicule a faith. ask if u have serious question so u dont waste others time...

and specifically to pagans, do you celebrate christmas as well as yule? if so, what do you do differently for them?

my kids believe(d) in santa. we celebrate yule with a nice family dinner and ritual, then christmas is the time for presents and seeing extended family.

God is "all knowing" which includes "all seeing" and more. God knows what you look like and what your surroundings look like from every possible angle over the course of your entire life. So an all-knowing God is clearly watching you have sex.

Theists, do you think about this? God watching you is like having 1000 video cameras pointed at you from all around the room - does that bother you?

I have now gotten 17 responses claiming that God exists, without one shred of scientific proof, claiming that because I know that air exists, or atoms, or molecules, or any other MICROSCOPIC organism, God must exist even though he is not visible. Well, how stupid is this. We all know air exists...you can feel it, see it blow, and even witness tornadoes! There is scientific evidence that atoms, molecules and everything else scientific you can compare it to exists.
Someone show me how God exists, without referring to the Bible, a book that a few men wrote NOT inspired by anything other than money.

Let's face it. You're wrong. Now, go to hell.

I am a devout Christian and I have been studying History and the history of Christianity in general. I used to buy into the junk about the Romans being corupt and immoral that caused their fall. Sure by today's standards of morality the Romans were some wicked people but did that really cause their down fall? To me there seems to be a connection with Romes acceptance of Christianity in the 4th Century and the fall of Rome by the hands of the Barbarians not long afterwards. By the way Paganism was big buisness too. What do you think?
