This is about walking our talk and living our truth. By doing so, we honor ourselves and others, for they see the truth of our soul. What greater way to express ourselves to those with whom we come in contact!

Mask free: This is the secret to living as a truly free individual.

Live your life in a way that is true to you and your beliefs?

At first I was going to say I agree... wholeheartedly. Practise what I preach, walk the walk etc etc.

But then again it depends how far you interpret that...
:
if it means something like "that i believe it is our responsibility to look after the earth, and then I make sure that I recyle, etc etc"

but what if i believed that everyone that didn't share my belief system was an infidel and should be treated like "dogs" and so I treated non-belivers like dogs"... isn't that still practising what i preach?

or is it that it's almost midnight and my brain is not with me at this present time?

Not necessarily; freedom of belief is a given, but the free expression of that belief is not. There are many instances where it would not be wise for a person to show openly their beliefs---can you imagine the reception a person might receive if they entered a small Bible-belt American town loudly espousing defense of gay marriage? They literally would be risking their life.

This is an extreme example, but I think we are all a bit muted in displaying openly every nuance of our beliefs, and we do this for reasons of consideration of the comfort level of those in our lives and those we must interact with. It is easier online to be more open about beliefs because of the disconnected nature of the contact.

i do agree with you, we are free to choose what we belief... and to pretty jack, stopping one's self from expressing certain beliefs in certain places is also part of a belief system... if you believe that you need to be a martyr to your cause you might express it where you'll be martyred, if you believe it's better to live and go elswhere, this belief will also be attested by your actions.
