Also do not ask a "question" in an attempt to convert others to your belief system. I agree- if everyone followed these two rules, it would be a much different Y!A?

Uh, no. It's because it's the dominant religion in the countries in which most English speakers on this site live in, and therefore the most troublesome to them.
I don't ask questions to ridicule a faith.
I don't care whether you have an imaginary Sky Bully that you think loves you.
What bugs me is when you try to insist that I believe in your imaginary Sky Bully.

Did you just post a question to ridicule those who post questions to ridicule others?
Slightly confusing and ironic.
Do you remember the whole assuming thing? I don't feel threatened by your religion, I feel threatened by your right to vote.

Meh, I'm not threatened by what an ancient book says. How do you know the Bible is fact? I know Jesus DID exist, but maybe tricked everyone into believe God was his dad.

well put, staliaoftheknife.
also: I'm not threatened by your god at all. at one time I was and then I realized, that when I stopped praying for things to happen and believing that a "guy on a throne" was looking out for me, and went out and did them myself, things happened. what a concept.

Uhh...no.
You're first on the list because you're the dominant religion in America, where most of the posters here live.
But I try to give equal time to every flavor of ignorance.
