I get these emails, many of them daily updating me to the latest and earliest reported news not only in America but worldwide from the Associate Press. Here is the latest:

"President Bush has vetoed a bill expanding a children's health insurance program, setting up an override battle with Congress"

What does Psalms 145: 3 - 4 tell us?
------------
Do not put YOUR trust in nobles,
Nor in the son of earthling man, to whom no salvation belongs.

His spirit goes out, he goes back to his ground;
In that day his thoughts do perish.

Earthly nobles = government, worldly authorities.

So dumb ole Bush would rather continue funding a deadly, most useless war having just poured another $78Billion into it recently, but he would veto proper insurance and health care for the children of even our own country?

Bush is a bigoted tyrant and I know God will take him out as take out all worldly gubmints at Armageddon. I despise these men who call themselves "gubmint leaders"! Slobs!

Gal from Yellow Flat:

No. I am making a point that government cannot be trusted at all. The priorities are not pure period in any form of Government. But I cannot wait until they are ALL destroyed at Armageddon. They are made up of imperfect humans and thus cannot offer any "pure" justice. I put NO faith in any imperfect men whatsoever. Just look at their track record and they commit most all crimes: 87% to 92% of all crimes committed by men; 94% of the most heinous crimes committed by men.

It's all just a sham. Where can I get off, lol. Kidding, but you know what I mean. It's all such a big sham.

yet enable's get right down to an relatively annoying question. Does each and every American deserve well-being care? That opens up the controversy of what constitutes being an American in the 1st place? this is a debate for yet another day. What with regards to the guy, total households, even generations of households that have never labored, never payed taxes, yet have lived off the device 3 hundred and sixty 5 days after 3 hundred and sixty 5 days? Are you making plans to grant them with well-being care? relatively??? How does that individual evaluate to the guy it fairly is been working and paying taxes via fact the age of 15 a million/2. Will their well-being care be equivalent? by some skill all of it purely does not make experience. in case you do no longer make a contribution, why might you anticipate something decrease back? This u . s . began and prospered with a great form of perplexing artwork, tears and blood. Why is straight away any distinctive? now and returned it form of feels that in case you do never pay taxes you do not have the potential to vote. Very controversially i understand. yet returned, in case you do no longer make a contribution, why do you ought to've a say in the way it fairly is spent? Our undesirable Forefathers must be looking down on us all with disgust and shame. whilst did you all replace into so corrupt? whilst did we modify into so lazy? whilst did any human beings think of any of it became ok?

What about all the people who have to pay for providing health care for all those children--the taxpayers. The federal government already takes 25% of my paycheck every month and over 50% of our nation's budget goes to pay for social programs.

You are using a faulty argument as well. You are saying don't put your trust in nobles, but that's exactly what you are doing by expecting the government to pay for health care for working class families.

Uh, do you know why he vetoed it? It's because part of the funding for it was to come from a tax increase on cigarettes.

Now, I don't know if you realize this, but most people who smoke are in lower-income homes. So yes, let's make things even HARDER on the working poor. Because that's the fair thing to do.

Why couldn't they tax alcohol more? Or caviar? Or private planes? Or yachts? How about those cars that cost more than $50,000? If a person can afford caviar, private planes, yachts, and/or expensive cars, they can afford to pay for medical care for our children. Am I right?

Man-made governments will never live up to the priniciples and teachings found in the New Testament.

Give to Caesar what belongs to Caesar. But give to God what belongs to him.

"Poor kids first," Bush said. "Secondly, I believe in private medicine, not the federal government running the health care system."

^ I agree with him. Sorry.

Scripture also says with the measure we judge others is the measure we will be judged. and it says we should pray for our leaders and submit to those who have authority over us.

Bush is Christian - don't forget that. The aim of Christianity is to make people die as fast as possible.
