Proverbs 21:2
Every way of a man is right in his own eyes, but the LORD weighs the heart.

Those who did what was "right" in the eyes of the Lord, in the Bible, they were BLESSED, and God continually kept them under the shadow of His wing. Those who walked according to His ways it says:
2 Chronicles 34:2
And he did what was right in the eyes of the LORD, and walked in the ways of David his father; and he did not turn aside to the right hand or to the left.

I read some of the answers you have gotten, and boy , It is amazing to me how the *Word* can strike a cord in people..... It does just what it is supposed to do huh ??convict peoples hearts !!!! and it all boils down to doing what is right in Gods eyes....... we are ALL born with with morals, that is the given part of God in EACH of us, that is what most do not understand.... Yes we all KNOW right from wrong, socially !!

Great question, and obvious too. amen.
IT doesnt matter what seems right to us, the Bible tells us even the very elect may be deceived in these last days especially so. The devil can convince us that something very wrong is ok. So it never matters what we think. ALl that matters is what God says in His word and revelation thru pray and serious Bible study and meditation. I know a man that was once cheating on his wife and got caught, said it was ok because she was a lousy wife and quite sleeping with him, well the reason she quit sleeping with him is hard to get in the mood after a beating to go into inatimacy. helllo. but he execused hsi behavior and is still there. whatever, the lady moved on and is happy and out of that now. God blessed her. But, I am using it to make a point, we have two spirits that speak to us all the time, The Holy Spirit, which is Gods spirit, and the devil an dhis demons. So we must make sure what we think and believe is based on the word of God If it doesnt line up with Gods truths, then its a lie
Obedience leads to blessing still today and disobedience still leads to curse, tho today that is not popular preachings. Doesnt matter, again , its what God says not what man says. It only matters what God says. and we cant plead ignorance, everyone has a chance to get a Bible and know Churches will give you one if you cant afford one. No execuses not to know.
RIght on with your question and right on to fullnes with God to victory God bless you to overflow.

Romans 3:24-26 ...His righteousness
24Being justified freely by his grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus:

25Whom God hath set forth to be a propitiation through faith in his blood, to declare his righteousness for the remission of sins that are past, through the forbearance of God;

26To declare, I say, at this time his righteousness: that he might be just, and the justifier of him which believeth in Jesus.

The longer we keep our eyes on Him - the more we surrender to His Lordship, the easier it is to do what is right in His eyes, because it is also right in our own eyes, resulting from a thorough understanding of His will for our lives.

God bless you.

Proverbs also says(twice), "There's a way that seems right to a man, but the end thereof is death."

Today people want to do what is right in their own eyes.
God knows everyones' heart whether they truly seek Him or not.

One main premise of the word is that our ways are not His ways. You have to start from there to see that what is considered right by Men is not necessarily considered right by G-d.
