Generally, What is it about?
I know it has something that involves Thor, The thunder god.
Can anyone tell me what "Norse" Means and what it's all about?

That's a pretty broad question.
Far too broad for Yahoo! Q&A.

Some things to google:
Asatru
Forn Sedr
Galdr
Seidhr
Aesir
Vanir
Theodish
Runes

That should get you a good starting point.
If you have some specific questions, I am reachable via IM.

Norse: of or pertaining to the Norse people (better known as Vikings these days)

Thor was one of the major gods in the Norse pantheon. If you want to learn about Norse mythology, go to your local library and they'll set you up. If you would like to know more about current religious practices involving the worship of the Norse deities, google "Asatru" and throw out the neo-Nazi crap. What's left will be something close to the current religion.

May I recommend The Icelandic Sagas as a good starting point? They were finally translated into English about ten years ago.
