God is all-knowing which includes all-seeing and more. God knows what you look like and what your surroundings look like from every possible angle over the course of your entire life. God never stops looking, because if God did, then God would not be "all seeing" anymore! So an all-knowing, all-seeing God is definitely watching when you shower.

Theists, do you think about this? God watching you in the shower, soaping up your body is like having 1000 video cameras pointed at you from every angle - does that bother you?

It wouldn't bother me. People who claim that God looks away while they shower are probably the same people who think they can sin because God is not paying attention. An all knowing (and therefore all-seeing) God is ALWAYS paying attention. What do you think?

"What you think of as perversion is well beyond God."

Wiseone, you brought up the issue of perversion. I didn't. I just brought the FACTS.

"Suggesting that he oogles everything that he creates in a manner that would make individuals feel uncomfortable lacks both logic and reason."

Erad, I didn't suggest that at all. Why did you bring it up? It appears that you and Wiseone have very perverted minds. God sees all. No matter what you are doing. People can deal with that in their own way - I'm just stating the facts here.

I would have to agree with you. God is all-seeing so He sees absolutely everything we do, every single second of our lives. Not only does He see us, but He is also omnipresent which means He is always with us, even when we shower. It's like showering with your best friend.

If God is all-knowing, he'd already know everything that's going to happen in the shower before you even turn on the water. He knew the outcome of said shower before he even made the choice to do anything in the beginning.

There would be no logical reason to be bothered by this. The suggestion of an all knowing God suggests that everything is predetermined. Suggesting that he oogles everything that he creates in a manner that would make individuals feel uncomfortable lacks both logic and reason.

Besides the fact that your whole question proves you have too much time on your hands and that your mind wanders into areas I don't care to think about, are you so ignorant that you think God can only see us naked when we're in the shower? God is with us all the time, so why would the shower be any different? I guess my response is...what's your point? (Do you even have one?)

Actually, I have thought about that. But I know that God made my body and it's no big deal to Him or to me that he sees me in the shower; Just like when any mother sees her baby during bath time.

yeah, sure He's there watching me, and i hope that He's there with me too. I was always taught that God will stay with me in spirit as along as i am doing whats right, but if i sin, He can not stay with me, since i don't do anything in the shower besides wash myself, im pretty sure He's not just watching over me in the shower, He's sitting there laughing at me when i slip and fall!

I'm no more embarrassed about God seeing me in the shower than I was in my husband seeing me in the all together.
I'm glad God is with me in the shower, and wherever I go. He's kept me from falling more than once.

I'm usually still asleep in the shower, so I'm not bothered. Anyway, God has better things to look at, trust me.

Adam and Eve walked around in the Garden of Eden naked for years. So why should i be worried? We were created in His own image.

His ways are not our ways. What you think of as perversion is well beyond God. You cannot compare him with human thoughts and feelings. Think about it.
