This I can answer yes. I am married and had been fighting Satan/myself over looking at porn on the internet. I had failed this several times in the week prior to this day. I was getting all worked up, getting nervous, fidgety and was getting to the point I was going to cave in. I said "Get thee behind me Satan." I did so several times. By third or fourth time, I felt better and I did not look at anything on the internet.
Yes, it does work but you MUST have faith, or it will fail.
Forgive me. I did not know you wanted sarcasm. It worked.

no but god called satan a whiny little b itch.
"Satan goes and sees God in Heaven (which is occupied solely by Mormons); God calls Satan a p ussy himself for complaining about such a problem, saying to him, "You got kicked out of here for being a headstrong rebel. And now you're a whiny little *****." God further tells Satan that he should dump them both and try to learn to appreciate himself before he tries to find a relationship."

I tried, "Get thee hence, foul demon!" But the cat just twitched his tail and proceeded to gnaw on me.

I'm hoping that the Jesus character didn't literally mean it.
