that Jesus Christ WAS the resurrection, why do they always deny that fact.

Not trying to offend anyone but it is because their "Bible" was tampered with when it went through Translation, the Jehovah Witness "Church" did this because they needed a way to "proove" their theories

Through Jesus Christ. The foregoing shows that the teaching of resurrection appears in the Hebrew Scriptures. Nevertheless, it remained for Jesus Christ to “shed light upon life and incorruption through the good news.” (2Ti 1:10) Jesus said: “I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.” (Joh 14:6) Just how everlasting life would come, and more than that, incorruption for some, was brought to light through the good news about Jesus Christ. The apostle affirms that the resurrection is a sure hope, arguing: “Now if Christ is being preached that he has been raised up from the dead, how is it some among you say there is no resurrection of the dead? If, indeed, there is no resurrection of the dead, neither has Christ been raised up. But if Christ has not been raised up, our preaching is certainly in vain, and our faith is in vain. Moreover, we are also found false witnesses of God, because we have borne witness against God that he raised up the Christ, but whom he did not raise up if the dead are really not to be raised up. . . . Further, if Christ has not been raised up, your faith is useless; you are yet in your sins. . . . However, now Christ has been raised up from the dead, the firstfruits of those who have fallen asleep in death. For since death is through a man, resurrection of the dead is also through a man.”—1Co 15:12-21.

Christ himself when on earth performed resurrections. (Lu 7:11-15; 8:49-56; Joh 11:38-44) Only through Jesus Christ can resurrection, with everlasting life thereafter, be possible.—Joh 5:26.

WE do??? Honestly, I firmly as a Christian know he IS the only hope of resurrection, by way of his Father

In regards to those who claim to know my beliefs, but clearly don't.

No we are not from Mars.

We do believe he was real and appeared to others.

We have nothing against seeking medical treatment, we simply abstain deom blood.

We certainly don't think we are the only ones in heaven.

With regard to the copy/paste job by Buttons. Honestly, I think this answer deserves the dumbest answer ever award. I am sorry but, none of what you said was real. No Witness would claim you will be burning forever. We don't support Hitler. If we were nazis would he have been trying to wipe us out??? I am JEWISH by dna, and a Witness by faith. We certainly don't believe all the world's miseries are because of Jews, consider, ANY Christian knows Satan is the cause.

As for the person who claims if we could get to guns we would force people to believe as we wish. There are almost 7 million of us, do you think we couldn't get guns if that was the idea?? We are peaceful, why do you think we don't serve in the military.

EDIT, I was just messaged, here it is

"From: cheek_of_it_all

Subject: Blah Blah Blah Blah

Message: Yes you would, most religions start wars and if the gun served a purpose of enforcing belief, they would use it.

I have family members who are Witnesses and TO BE FRANK they're a bunch of radical nut jobs who deserve to go to the ovens, Hitler had a point you know...

So when you wake up sometime in the future with an SA80 pointing at your head, what you going to do? Pray to Jehovah?

40,000 indeed, what a total whack religion. I would rather be a Catholic... hold on a sec... I am a Catholic....

Oh, keep your panties on."

Your Q is not clear to me and the answers have hardly helped because we are all laboring under the difficulty of not really knowing what you mean. JWs believe Jesus' words, 'I am the resurrection and the life' etc. They believe he was resurrected (though not his physical body - he was raised as a spirit creature, they say) and they believe he conquered death and will call forth the dead from their graves to a physical resurrection on a paradise earth. The 144,000 who they say are going to heaven, are raised instantly to invisible, spirit life when they die.

The real problem with JW teaching on the resurrection lies with their belief that Christ is not the Creator but the first created being who then ceased to exist in order to become a man, who then ceased to exist in order to become an angel. This enables them to teach soul annihilation at death. The only 'thing' that God resurrects is the personality of dead ones. God 'remembers' the individual, creates a brand new body and pops the same personality/memory into it. I don't know whether this deals with your question or not.

Because religion is one of the power bases of control, government is another and employers are another power base of control as are employers / landowners the 3rd power base that control.

Its a pitched battle between the three and religion is losing out, so they have to push forward this belief system which actually has no foundation whatsoever, were is the evidence? None exists, they find items that pre date these events listed in the bible but no evidence of Jesus or his disciples or historical evidence has to this date been offered up, even the holy shroud is a fake, proven by carbon dating.

You have to be a complete ball bag brain to believe in this crap.

Jehovahs witnesses are a bunch of numb nutz that are borderline radicals that if you gave them a gun they would use it to enforce their beliefs but they resort to their propaganda under the guise of "The Watchtower" and other paraphernalia that is laughable, really, Utopia is an unobtainable existence whilst landowners and employers are allowed to be one of the control bases just like governments.

This is where religion wins by offering something that the other two power bases can't and its this false hood that blows right up my kilt. They're lies, every one one them. So ask yourself, if God is just, why does he / she allow war, poverty, hunger, etc to exist?

In John 11:25 jesus says 'I am the resurrection and the life. He that excercises faith in me , even though he dies, will come to life' . Jesus was talking about a literal resurrection as those who die now but whom had put their faith in him be resurrected to life.
Also Jesus talks of himself in revelation 1:18 as "the living one and i became dead, but look! i am living forever and ever and i have the keys of death and hades" now why would he need those if Jesus did not mean to ressurect

"WAS"?

No, Jesus' resurrection CONTINUES to guarantee the resurrection hope for all humankind.

(Acts 17:30-31) God ...is telling mankind that they should all everywhere repent. Because he [Jehovah God] has set a day in which he purposes to judge the inhabited earth in righteousness by a man [Jesus Christ] whom he has appointed, and he has furnished a guarantee to all men in that he [Jehovah] has resurrected him [Jesus] from the dead.

All I know about Jehovah Witness's and the resurrection is that they believe Jesus was resurrected as another spirit and wasn't an actual person. They also don't believe that He showed Himself at various times to people. I may not be totally correct.

How can Jesus continue to Guarantee the
resurrection when it was all over the minute he rose from the grave. You are 2,000 years too late, there is no death now. That is why they say O'Death where is your sting O' Grave where is your Victory. Jesus broke the chains of death, and opened the Gates of Hell. Any Christian Confirm.

Despite some of these answers, I have had them come to my door and tell me face to face that they were still waiting for Jesus to finally come and remove them from this ungodly world and I am not the only one that this crap has been told to either.
I have been told that I was damned and was going to go to Hell for being Catholic and for practicing my Native American Faith as well.
When a few of us who were at my home and they came knocking at my door again after being told by my husband to stay away, I guess they just don't know the word No. Anyways I posed a question to them as to why they have the same belief system as Hitler and why were so many of them Nazis then and still today, they did not give us an answer and I was polite to them and they took off and have not been back since. They did say at one point that Jews are the cause of the world's miseries. I then shut the door in their face. I see them as liars and thieves of the truth and to say to why is it your business as to what they think? Well, maybe we don't want what happened during ww2 to happen here or anywhere else. From all that I could ever come up with that cult is that still follow Hitler and try to take the brainless and mold them into their sick sick ways. All I do is pray that they are found out for what they really are and what their sick goals are.

Speaking as one of Jehovahs witness and let me say we do not hate the bible and we have not changed the bible in any way,
We do believe that jesus is the ressurection because if you look into your own bibles you wil see in the book of JOHN chapter 11 and verse 25, you will read Jesus said to her " I am the ressurection and the life, He that exercises faith in me, even though he dies, will come to life."
Im sorry but you have been misinformed. and we are not a cult
