Romans 1
In the Epistle to the Romans 1:26-27 (TNIV), Paul writes

“ Because of this [idolatry], God gave them over to shameful lusts. Even their women exchanged natural sexual relations for unnatural ones. In the same way the men also abandoned natural relations with women and were inflamed with lust for one another. Men committed shameful acts with other men, and received in themselves the due penalty for their error.
1 Corinthians 6; 1 Timothy 1
In 1 Corinthians 6:9-10 (TNIV), Paul says:

“ Or do you not know that wrongdoers will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived: Neither the sexually immoral nor idolaters nor adulterers nor male prostitutes nor practicing homosexuals nor thieves nor the greedy nor drunkards nor slanderers nor swindlers will inherit the kingdom of God.

Are you asking Christians to shut up about Scripture or just dis-regard it entirely and why would we?

don't the evolutionists obey God?
I have a Catholic Bible in Spanish that belongs to my wife and it says that God used the big bang and evolution to create man..
So why don't you evolutionists become Catholics?? or Christians of another group?
Well why not?

Proverbs 22:6
Raise a child in the way he should go, and when he is old he will not turn from it.

I and many others were raised in Christian homes and have been liberated from its clutches. Did Biblegod have a bad day when he wrote this one?

First, read article below, then answer..I'm not trying to convert you, but just to ponder some things.. that's all. If you want an excellent argument from a scientists standpoint on the argument that there has to be a cause (a creator) for the effect (The universe), that proves the atheists theories that 1) the universe came out of nothing 2) the universe is eternal (Stephan Hawking dismisses this theory) go against basic laws. Although, this article does not stand to present a God/Religion.. It proves that the atheist views about the 'beginning' or 'what has always been' are not sound (based on scientifically proven laws).. It wouldn't work any better than to imagine a dough nut in your hand right now and having it appear. If atheists dare, open your minds and read this article written by Ph.D., Bert Thompson with excepts from scientific studies regarding this subject.. here it is, and I wish you the best on your journey. http://www.apologeticspress.org/articles...

(They get to sleep with a different woman every night!)

But my real question is, what about the women? Why do they put up with the arrangement, and how do they deal with their jealousy?

I've read essays by women in Polygamous marriages that say they wouldn't have it any other way. WHY?

Although I am not a Buddhist I think from my limited knowledge of the subject, he was a great phylosopher.

But was he?
He would not be a Prophet I think because he did not claim his words were those of a God?
So what "category" would he best fit into?

i'm asking this question in order to shed some light on the whole "is atheism a religion?" debate. saying atheism is a religion is like saying everyone who believes in a god or a higher power are of the same religion. it would be careless for me though to make this assumption as i know there are many different philosophies amongst the different theists. every atheist realizes this and rarely, if ever, makes that assumption. i would never say warlocks and the catholics believe the exact same thing. so why do so many believers try to do that with atheists? just as there are many different philosophies for believers, the same can be said for atheists. some are humanists, some are pascifists, while others are nihilists. and that's just naming a few. all are atheists, and all have different philosophies on how to live their lives.

Preparation of the Earth for habitation was in a continued chemical reaction in the atmosphere. (And God said, Let there be a firmament in the midst of the waters, and let it divide the waters from the waters.--Genesis 1:6) Apparently there was a heavy fog laying on top of the liquid of the planet. The chemical reactions would be expected to cause the fog to rise into a heavy cloud-mass, leaving a clarified atmosphere. (And God made the firmament, and divided the waters which were under the firmament from the waters which were above the firmament: and it was so.--Genesis 1:7)

I consider myself a pretty decent Christian - I am not one of the best but do what I can do to lead a Christian life. I also know, based on facts, that evolution is not a theory but a fact. I believe that God had a hand in evolution some how - maybe by starting the big bang (for example). Does this make me a bad Christian or just enlightened :o)

1. Abortion.

2, Fornication.

3. Public Indecency- Men wanting to score in public bathrooms

4. Homosexuals- Engaging in Sex Acts and Peversion in their so called Parades

5. Ban Military Recruiters from College Campuses where are tax dollars are going..

So why don't you admit that you want people of GOD to be tolerant of immorality, indecency and hedonism..Say it like it is and don't backslide this is what you want isn't it?

Jesus would tell these people to repent and sin no more, if they did not they would have a permanent home in the lake of fire why should we be any different in what we think?

Crusading prosecutor Smith has said his indictment of eight men from Colorado City is not an attack on the practice of polygamy, but instead an attack on the practice of some polygamist men who insist on taking underage girls as their plural wives.

A friend of mine wisely said "What about the poor young LDS boys - they are being thrown out of their homes because they are competition for the old lechers?"

Didn't Mohammed have multiple wives, including one under 10 years old? Is polygamy OK with Allah? Is statutory rape of minor children OK with God?

It is even rape when the woman is of age, but is not taught her rights, nor has rights!!!

The law has convicted a FLDS leader, Warren Jeffs, after a jury deliberated for `15 hours! What took so long???

GOD is our ultimate judge. From your reading of His Word, what is God's will in this controversial area???

I had understood that Noah was on the Ark for 40 days. I found out last night that this is NOT true. I read Genesis, and added up the days. Noah was on the Ark for about a year. The following link will refer you to Genesis, chapter 7. Continue reading into Chapter 8.

http://www.biblegateway.com/passage/?book_id=1&chapter=7&version=31

Now, honestly tell me.

Did you know this? How does this change your view of the events surrounding Noah's story?

I stress again...HONESTY! I would like to know how common this information is. I certainly didn't know, nor was it portrayed in this manner to me. However, the words are right there for anyone to see. Any comments you have on the logistics of keeping all of the animals fed for a full year would be appreciated too.

Thanks.

This question only really applies to christians in all seriousness..... though anyone else is free to answer (I just expect that the replies of Muslims, Atheists, Pagans and whatnot won't really help much here).

I'm just wondering how christians seem to know SO MUCH about God, Jesus, Heaven, Hell and all that lot when it suits them..... and not quite so much when it doesn't suit them..... much of which doesn't seem to be in the Bible at all.

Is it just artistic license or what?
