Romans 1
In the Epistle to the Romans 1:26-27 (TNIV), Paul writes

“ Because of this [idolatry], God gave them over to shameful lusts. Even their women exchanged natural sexual relations for unnatural ones. In the same way the men also abandoned natural relations with women and were inflamed with lust for one another. Men committed shameful acts with other men, and received in themselves the due penalty for their error.
1 Corinthians 6; 1 Timothy 1
In 1 Corinthians 6:9-10 (TNIV), Paul says:

“ Or do you not know that wrongdoers will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived: Neither the sexually immoral nor idolaters nor adulterers nor male prostitutes nor practicing homosexuals nor thieves nor the greedy nor drunkards nor slanderers nor swindlers will inherit the kingdom of God.

Are you asking Christians to shut up about Scripture or just dis-regard it entirely and why would we?

I just disregard it myself. It was compiled 2000 years ago by very superstitious tribes men and definately doesn't apply to real life.

You know those Muslims 'extremists' who want Sharia law imposed on everyone? You're doing the exact same thing.

If you don't like what someone's doing, that's fine. But unless they're actually harming someone, why not let them do what they like, rather than only what you like?
Try to put yourself in their shoes. Think of something you do that doesn't harm anyone. Now imagine someone insisting that you stop simply because they want you to. Get the idea?

This is nothing new. Paul was a judgmental homophobic prude and probably a closeted gay himself. I find it interesting that a religion that is supposedly all about love would hold such hate filled vitriol as scripture.

Pretty funny you would say that.
G-d did not want any "graven images" made of Him. He would be totally appalled that we have applied him to coins and dollar bills.

There is only one line that they all fit in....
..Forgive them O' God, for they do not know what they do or say.

"God" never says anything at all. Didn't you notice your fingers typing on the keyboard when you made that post? You wrote that stuff, not "God".

Do try to be more honest, okay? Someday you're going to regret trashing your reputation like this.
