Deny that atheism is similar to satanism and yet at the same time behave exactly like satanists (ie: being obscene, hateful, etc..)?

Burns Baby, here is what YOU should accept:

An atheist loves only HIMSELF. That is the essense of atheism. There are all too many atheists who do NOT love their "fellow man".

If you are an atheist who happens to love your "fellow man" besides yourself, good for you. But most atheists I've seen (including here on Yahoo answers) only love themselves. Period.

lol, if i was a satanist i would say so.

i think atheists all have different ideas about the meaning of life, they just all agree that god cannot exist.

Honestly, how many Satanists do you know? The only ones that I know of that act obscene, hateful, etc are the teenagers - and not all of them act like that. The adult Satanists I know don't act anything like that unless they are treated in a hateful manner. So I'm wondering where you get this....

Are you serious? I know a lot of atheists who aren't obscene, hateful, etc. I'm not religious and don't know if I believe in god, but I don't drink, do drugs, party, get into fights, steal, etc etc etc.

I know a lot more people who consider themselves religious who are hateful towards certain groups of people (ie: gays). Of course, I know religious people who AREN'T like that as well.

And, there are a lot more so-called Christians in the prison system than there are atheists.

Your question is what seems hateful.

And where are you getting your views on satanism?

movies and tv?

you, are, a jack off and cannot be taken seriously.

Go research satanism and actually be able to formulate a decent opinion.

Oh wait, your probably just an ignorant christian. Never mind. Go back to your chuck and make yourself feel better by living with people who also believe your lies.

Here is what you fail to realize:

An Atheist loves himself and his fellow man instead of a god. An Atheist accepts that heaven is something for which we should work now -- here on earth -- for all men together to enjoy. An Atheist accepts that he can get no help through prayer, but that he must find in himself the inner conviction and strength to meet life, to grapple with it, to subdue it and to enjoy it. An Atheist accepts that only in a knowledge of himself and a knowledge of his fellow man can he find the understanding that will help to a life of fulfillment.

And I suppose you're not being at all hateful with this question?

I am an atheist. I am peaceful, loving, moral and happy. I do not behave like a Satanist, nor do I behave like a spoilt brat (hmmmm - wonder who that is??)

Let me get this instantly, you are asking questions of atheists and complaining once we reply? Would it slow no longer be greater spent complaining approximately the devout no longer answering whilst you ask questions of them? Religion is backwards. I believe eighteen is your lot roughly

Well thousands of atheists are using non-violence against Soviet-style oppression in Burma right now. So what are you talking about? These atheists are supported by Christians as well.

As a Buddhist, who is essentially atheist, I'd have to say that your comparison is illogical, considering that we don't worship any kinds of beings, and certainly not ones who don't logically exist, which includes this "satan" character you're referring to.
