His message of peace, love, and tolerance is a lot more important than his skin color. That's my opinion anyway.

African American????? What?????

The Bible didn't take place in America.

Jesus was most likely black, yes, but not African and not American. He was most likely Iranian/Iraqui. Most of the Biblical locations are around that area.

Never heard of a Biblical scholar that concluded that Jesus was African American. Boy, I sure wouldn't want to see a Bible study done by you.

African American? LOL You have to be kidding.

Most scholars say that he was a Middle Eastern Jew.

Probably something to do with him being born in Judea from Jewish parents.

Rather than the Northern European that he has historically been portrayed as.

Or the Sub-Saharan African that has become popular in African-American and African churches.

Maybe you need to stop listening to these so called "Biblical Scholars". Jesus was a Jew. Not African...Not American.

There is no evidence of what you claim whatsoever. There were no Africans in America then. If you're claiming he was black. . . wrong again. He was Semitic - like the Arabs of today.
His message of peace, love, and tolerance was some of the most radical and inspirational teaching in history. Too bad nobody pays any attention - especially today's Christians.

Don't be a fool.

Most biblical scholars know there was no America when Jesus is to have lived.

His skin color does not matter.

But these people who claim to be scholars are not well educated. Few people had ever traveled to the Americas before Columbus, and I do not know of any one from Africa going to the Americas, not to mention their return.

Besides, the Bible tells us who the parents of Jesus were, they were Jews.

Jesus was a Jew, which would have made Him at that time a dark skinned European.

His message was that we are all sinners in need of a Savior to pay the price we owe but cannot pay. He was NOT tolerant of anything that kept people from coming to Him on His terms. Salvation is in no other name...and the death, burial and resurrection is what we are told to BELIEVE in order to be saved. God did for us what we could not do for ourselves.
He paid your sin debt and mine so that we could be reconciled to Him.

Have you accepted His gift?
