God is neither evil or caring because God doesn't exist. However, you have pointed out what this non existent God is used for, and that is an excuse for everything in life. If there really was a God and people knew it, we'd do nothing with our lives as we sat around letting the 'will of God' sort everything out. Unfortunately there are people who actually believe in this fairytale, invisible man in the sky, and do waste theirs and others lives because of him.

This is real life and real life is hard and unfair. The last thing we need is an army of deluded fantasists making it even harder by telling us that Mr God is watching out for us. (That's before he sends us for a nice eternity of hell fire)

God is NOT capable of being evil. There is evil in the world because of man. Sin entered the world when man chose to disobey God.

19This is the verdict: Light has come into the world, but men loved darkness instead of light because their deeds were evil. 20Everyone who does evil hates the light, and will not come into the light for fear that his deeds will be exposed.
~John 3:19-20 (New International Version)~

12Therefore, just as sin entered the world through one man, and death through sin, and in this way death came to all men, because all sinned—
~Romans 5:12 (New International Version)~

What a lot of people don't understand is that bad things happen to everyone regardless of whether or not a person is good or bad. Ever since sin entered the world, bad things have occurred. That's why God sent his son, Jesus, to die on the cross. He loves everyone He created and wants to grant salvation to those who believe in Him.

16"For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life."
~John 3:16 (New International Version)~

By accepting God, the hearts of His followers become more like His when they genuinely try to live their lives for Him. And when His people carry out this principle, there is a better chance to rid the world of evil.

The rain falls on the just and the unjust. God is no respecter of persons. He doesnt promise that His followers will be free from the same suffering that everyone else goes thru....in fact, believers are promised a suffering that non believers dont experience.

So...the world is NOT a nice place. Bad things happen to everyone...and heres a news flash for ya....

God says "There is NONE good, NO NOT ONE."

Jesus didnt die for good people...but for those who admit they are sinners.

God is not evil. He is good.

Bad things happen to good people to help them grow in their strength with God. If you think back to anything bad that has happened to you, coming through it has made you stronger & more compassionate to others who struggle.

Good things happen to bad people, but it's short term. Sin is pleasurable for a season, but when the pleasure runs out (and it will) there is only emptiness & sorrow.

Free will. My theory is that does God not want to intervene. That is why I do not support the concept of miracles. Miracles to me follow the same category as fate or destiny. Someone is dictating your actions or planning the fore mentioned and I don't believe that at all.

God's not doing it. God gave people free will. People do bad things to people. God is the one we turn to for hope. God is where we find our inner peace and guidance.

No person is all good or all bad. Things that you think of as bad may not be bad for that person. For example, premarital sex. Some people view people who have sex before marriage as amoral and "bad." Other people don't see what the big deal is.

It's about people judging people. God has very little to do with it.

No God is not evil. Evil is in fact the absence of God, just as darkness is the absence of light. This is a corrupt world. We have both darkness and light. As the Bible says, the rain falls on the just and the unjust alike.

that is rubbish, good and bad things happen to all sorts of people whether they are white, black good or cruel people, and why is it Gods fault when bad things happens? when something good happens to people they never mention God or thank him, but when bad stuff happens they want to blame God? What the hells it got to do with him, you get on with life and stop blaming God for evrything that goes wrong in life, maybe you should thank him for evrything that's gone right in life.

Read the book of Job in the bible. It has a lot of good lessons in it. God saw that Job was rigteous before Him. He still allowed Job to suffer. He restored Job and everything that He had in the end.
