Yep good ol John the Baptist was the one who said "I come to prepare the way" -- He came to announce the coming of Jesus Christ, our Savior. Also John the Baptist leaped in the belly of Elizabeth, his mother when Mary (who was pregnant with Jesus) came to see Elizabeth. Which is a pretty awesome significance of how John the Baptist even then knew who Jesus was!
(p.s there is no Acts 13:25)

Which time?

All of the Old Testament prophets announced the coming of Jesus (ie the "Messiah").

John the Baptist is the answer you're looking for though... ;-)

Then there are the ancient prophets of the New World who recorded His coming, and modern day prophets who announced His visits in these latter days and His imminent second coming.

the book of acts was written after His coming. unless of course you are referring to the second coming. but all the prophets prophesied about the coming of the Messiah.

John the Baptist is said to have announced the coming of Jesus; he was not an apostle, however, and didn't live long after baptizing Jesus, as Herod tossed him in jail, and later beheaded him to please Salome.
