A Person's physcological response to His creator has many ramification.
When the Problems of the world fall upon him, he may exprerience a frustration response of denial. Hence the response would be the Denial of His Creator .
Its similar to a child's response; If I cant have a the whole chocolate ,then ,I dont want any.
Ultimately atheists on the End realize that they really need a relationship with their Creator.
The Big Bang Theory attributes Creation of the Universe out of a singularity. This implies that There was a Creator of the the premordial mass singularity.
Now, the how and source of the material of Creation of the Universe came into existence, a Scientific theory of Creation like the Big Bang theory has no exact answer for it.
Science just like anything in life believes things by faith in a theory. This faith being realistic or not depends on the eye of the beholder. To Understand life and its origin it is required to first Understand the" Essence of Being"

Hmm, believing in a good greater complicated than the universe great being that purely exists uncaused without information isn't somewhat ridiculous to you? i became raised in a faith yet as quickly as I have been given the right age to start questioning with regard to the unsupported claims the actuality they sounded ridiculous performed a place in my discovering greater and finally starting to be an atheist. speaking snakes and donkeys, long lifeless prophets springing up and returning to cities, gods impregnating virgins, and so on... sounds exceptionally ridiculous to me. If somebody grants some information for such previous their holy textual content textile claims it (while they truthfully push aside different texts with far out thoughts without information) then i might re-evaluate yet until eventually then I see no foundation to assert atheism is greater ridiculous then theism.

I don't find it ridiculous at all!! I can understand why they don't believe. Believing in God/Jesus/Holy Spirit takes incredible faith. It is easy to believe if you can see it. Some people absolutely have to have proof to believe. I am a born again Christian and will outright admit that - at times - I have my doubts about the universe, God, heaven, hell and the like. I choose to believe without seeing but it is hard sometimes. I don't wish anyone to perish. I wish the atheists could walk in "blind faith" like we do, however, there will be people who just won't "get it" like we do. I think many atheists are very nice, warm hearted people but not all just like in Christianity.

I don't believe the universe came from nothing. I believe in the law of physics that energy can neither be created nor destroyed. We, as mere mortals, cannot comprehend eternity or timelessness. That is what the universe is, timeless.
I, for one, prefer to believe that some massive force of energy dissolved and became concentrated on earth- creating life as we know it...rather than having been made out of the rib of a man who was made from dirt.
The two of which were so STUPID they disobeyed the most powerful being in all of existence to eat a piece of fruit. And if the Bible Creation story IS true, then I hate it even more because it's Eve's idiocy that makes me have a period and painful childbirth!

No I don't find atheism ridiculous....I'm a christian and think that what ever people want to believe is their prerogative. I do feel sorry for those who are atheist because we all know there on a road to know where but down. I pray for these people that maybe one day they may have a change of heart. Have you ever seen those debates that they show on TV between and atheist and a christian? They tend to repeat the same thing over and over again instead of backing it up with where their beliefs are related.

Atheism is the lack of faith; it’s not a religion. They believe in science and they got to the point of Atheism because they can think for themselves. Whether or not they’re correct in their beliefs that’s still an admirable quality that seems to be missing from a lot of religious folks.

I see. So then believing there's a magical invisible man in the sky who just wished everything into existence out of nowhere somehow makes more sense? Interesting.

Actually, believing an omnipresent, omniscient and yet all loving deity that came out of no where and created everything for now reason whatsoever is far more absurd.

Yeah, I like to believe in a magic man sitting high in the clouds that created every single thing on this planet and his self/son came to earth and magically healed people, died, rose from the dead and will return one day to take all his followers back "heaven"...that sounds so logical and so not ridiculous to me.

Although I am a Christian and I really believe in God, I can understand atheistic beliefs. I don't find it ridiculous! I think every Christian has once or more in his/her's life wondered whether God really exists. We all are humans and we think alike. The Holy Spirit reveals to us that God is real and shows us His love and care for us, but doesn't stop us to reason and think for ourselfs. If you don't have the Holy Spirit and do not want anything to do with God, God can't reveal Himself to you. That person must first stop or reduce his scientific reasoning about the "absence of God" and allow the Spirit of God to reveal Him to him/her.
You must make the first choice: Open yourself to God, or block yourself from Him
