I mean what was the first thing you learned/read about religion thta made you shake your head and think to yourself "This is crazy". I am not talking about the concept of god, we all know atheists dont believe in god so asking about it is pointless, and agnostics well being one myself I know the question is moot. What I am asking is basically what is it about religion that turns your stomach the most and sets you against it wholeheartedly? I have nothing wrong with individual beliefs but I have alot of issues with organized religion, its practices and it's teachings. When I first read the bible so much jumped out at me and made me realize religion was not something I agreed with. Then I guess the inquisitions pretty much sealed the deal.. What was it for you?

I'm curious, I see sooo many attacks on Christianity that it makes me wonder:

Are you *really* that much better than them?

There seems to be some confusion about meanings of certain words. Asking about creationsim in school I was more often than not told, "Teach both theories and allow the children to decide for themselves."
One clarification is needed.

A theory in technical use is a more or less verified or established explanation accounting for known facts or phenomena.

A hypothesis is a conjecture put forth as a possible explanation of phenomena or relations, which serves as a basis of argument or experimentation to reach the truth.

Now, all that being said, do you now realize the difference between the two?

If I had the money I would buy them and pass them out in every church in America. I actually do plan to purchase some for my church. I love to give away Christian books and show Christian movies.I've read many of his books and they've all been great but this one just really inspired me. Anyone else share this experience? God bless!!

I feel like I'm forever being judged, harassed and having Christianity shoved down my throat.

But if (The Christian) God is the one and only god, then where are the other 70% and why don't they believe too?

30% isn't very convincing to me.

Wouldn't you be grateful and accept his sacrifice so that you could live?
