I'm curious, I see sooo many attacks on Christianity that it makes me wonder:

Are you *really* that much better than them?

Thanks AnArdRi

And to most of the rest, you're just making excuses for yourselves.

This is easy to prove in that you *never* (at least I never see it) challenge the ideas of your fellow atheists... even when they are extreme.

So your idea of somehow honestly searching for truth is a lie.

What we have here is two armed camps defending shaky ground. Neither side has conclusive evidence to support its claims and that tend to make the need to defend so much more intense.

I wonder what would happen if we all admitted that we really don't know.

Look, most of us don't attack Christianity. There are a few who do, but the majority should hardly be judged by what only a few do. Most of us would question Christianity, and defend atheism. That can be misinterpreted as hostility by some Christians, but have you seen some of the questions and answers directed to atheists, made by Christians? Many are considerably worse.

Nope, I just follow a different path than they do. No better, no worse, just different.
Oh and I never attacks Christianity or Christians. I merely call out people who are bigoted, believe that their way is the only way or provide nonsensical arguments to try and convince me to convert to their way.

Saying that "we're better" is really kind of immature - I've never heard an atheist say that before. However, I have heard Christians say that atheists will go to hell because we don't agree with them - hardly an understanding and forgiving view.

As a HUGE majority in this country, are you really so sensitive that you can't handle criticism? Atheists get it every day.

I don't "attack" Christianity. I simply point out that it's structured around mythology.

And yes, I know that the god concept is logically impossible. Such a being (given the qualities it's usually said to possess) could not exist. It's self contradictory and ridiculous. I have no problem saying "the god concept is logically impossible" just like I have no problem saying "2+2=57 is logically impossible".

I am an atheist, and I do not attack anyone. However, I do defend myself.

I do not believe I am better than anyone. However, I think I deserve to make up my own mind about what I believe without anyone threatening hell for me to believe what they want me to believe.

We are all different.

Some take being threatened with eternal agony in a pit of burning sulfur better than others.

Attacks? Are direct and frank answers to questions now considered "attacks"? Sorry you see it that way. Not very confident in your beliefs, are you?
