what I mean, is people are always asking "what is your point"

does life have to be about an ending, not a journey, and focussed only on a future?

what is the point of living for a "point" or mountaintop only?

Ok, so this is a touchy subject for and hard to talk about. I feel like I am losing my faith, and I really REALLY don't want that. I have been trying to have kids for 5 years, and I have been told I am not likely to do so. I love children, and I cannot afford to adopt one. I want to have my own so badly. I try so hard to do the right thing, but I feel like I am always messing up. God has been there for me so many times before, but maybe I did something wrong to not be able to have children. I know that I shouldn't feel that way because there are a lot of people out there like me who have fertility problems. The major problem is that I am the ONLY one that I know of in my whole family that has fertility problems, and I have found myself blaming God for that, even though I know I shouldn't. How can I get my faith back? I pray every night, and I am constantly apologizing for the way that I feel. I just don't know what to do.

God is your humanity and common sense. Do not do something for God do it for yourself. If you want to end relationships with family or friends end them because of evil deeds that person has done not because they do not believe what you believe. There are enough different God's written about in history to overpopulate most U.S. Cities. Who are you to say any one of them is the right one and the only one and no other belief is the correct way to believe but your own? If you convert a bad person to christianity then they see the evil laws of the Old Testament (I speak of the rules for engaging in war and the punishment of death for not following the old testament laws.) You can say that the Bible tells you Thou shall not kill, and argue that people should get severe punishment for breaking that law...But is that a law of the bible or of common sense? Jesus supposedly came to fulfill the profecies but if he did and we no longer need to follow the old testament is it ok to kill?

Yeas ago there was a 13 year old girl murdered in my neighborhood. Her mother was convicted of the crime and has been in prison for many years now. However, just reciently, some DNA testing points the finger at the man who was her boyfriend at the time. Her name is Crystallynn Girard and we are having a prayer vigil for her Monday night. The problem with that is that many of the folks attending the prayer vigil will be unsaved and the Bible says that God does not hear the prayers of the unsaved. So, if we don't have some Christians praying along side these unsaved people God will not hear them. Would you all pray with us for justice to prevail in this situation?

What about those children in Africa or Asia who have never heard of Jesus? Will they go to hell even though they never had a chance to believe? Would somebody go to hell if they were looking for the truth and died before they found it? These are my problems I have with Christianity

God Said Wait
Written By Semper Fi Reborn 9/21/07

With every pore of my flesh,
I loved her.
She was every dream I'd had,
Come true in one flashing light.
I lived inside her smiling eyes,
And she rented space in my heart.
But Iove was unrequited.
I thought I was a failure, that day she left.
I succumbed to fear of loneliness.
I decided to end it.
My life.
Then, at the doorway to oblivion,
God said wait!
Behold! A new love I send thee.
She was even more beautiful than the last.
Her of my past.
What was her name?
My memory fails.
I fell in love again.
Her voice being a song.
Yet I am the only dancer.
And if this love should sour,
I will not mourn as before.
I will not seek death,
But will seek the Light of God's Gift.
God said wait.
So I know He has a plan for even I.

For He heard my cries from Heaven,
And bid me to wait.

I don't believe in gods, or magic, or anything supernatural. But nevertheless I labor under the illusion that I can "jinx" myself if I am not careful. Although I know this idea is irrational, and just a way of making myself feel in control of things....I still have it. Surely the majority of us have some irrational beliefs we hold? Do you think maybe the difference between atheists and religious folk is that we can recognize our own unfounded thoughts, while other people prefer the comfort of the illusion?
Or do you think maybe we are being unfair to believers, since we all have our own irrational ideas too?

Okay, so I am 14 years old. My parents won't let me follow the Buddhist faith, and I don't know why. They are Christian, And I was raised to be a Christian, but I don't feel right practising Christianity, Buddhism seems like the right religion for me. I don't want to practise a religion if my heart's not into it. So what should I do?

i was watching a video on the bohemium grove and they talked about the people pertending to sacrifice a baby(not real of coarse). but then i thought christians pretend to drink jesus's blood, right. The guy said that it was wrong to do that, but then again, right and wrong is in the eye of the beholder. So what do you think.

Just a question from a nuetral point of view.

There are dozens of religions in this world, surely only 1 can be the true path.
Imagine if you devoted your life to your religion, only to find out that when you die, you appear at the gates, with some person holding up a brown card at you with the word "BLUFF"
Even if you gain access, imagine all the bloody bickering there would be between different sects. For instance your brother got in, but your sister didn't because of different personal beliefs.
How mad would that make you feel?
Would you want to enter heaven, even though you knew your entire family got refused???
This theory makes a mockery of the whole concept in my opinion!

should I not even bother asking even tough I really need the thing. I don't want to seem like a christian who wants to use God. I wanna be a real christian all the time but it's been real hard to obey Him. I've been bitter and disobedient to Him coz He's not dealing with my ennemies like I wanted Him to and He let some bad things happened in my life. It's hard, real hard for me now, I need a fast miracle from Him.
Give me some verses if you think He might do it for me coz I don't He will.
Please don't use words like His timing or His will.

does god send people to hell conservatively, moderately, or liberally?

do christians vote conservatively.....or just along political lines of people who claim they will do their bidding for "voting conservative"? Can people actually vote along party lines without using religion, and does their political choice actually correctly represent their morals?

My experience, thanks to Karl Rove...no

Yours?
