That is crazy. There's no way around that. It's insanity. First that men think they have that much control over another. Secondly that life isn't important.

That happened 5 years ago and had to do with the stupid Muttawa. The Muttawa spend their time abusing their power and enforcing Shariah Law. In Islam in a life or death situation women are allowed to come out uncovered.

Bismillahi Rahmani Rahim - In the Name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful

Hello. Yes, it was reprehensible for the men to not unlock the doors to that school because some of the girls or women were not covered. It was a tragedy and it just shows that those who practice a religion may be actually ignorant of that religion's teachings. This is of course not exclusive to Islam. Trust me, Muslims around the world were horrified at this ignorant act, as it goes against all Muslim teachings that require all efforts be made to save lives.

Islam is a beautiful, common sense religion, but there are people with no common sense in this world and sometimes they do incredibly stupid things. That does not change the truth of the teachings of Islam. Those teachings are simple.

There is only One God worthy of worship. He is the Creator and the Sustainer of the Universe. He is the God of Adam, Noah, Abraham, Isaac, Ishmael, Jesus, Muhammad, and all the humans on the earth.

God expects people to acknowledge Him and worship Him with no partners, and to give charity and be kind to the poor and the orphan. He expects us to be honest in our dealings with others regardless of their religion or ethnicity, and He expects us to only act in the best, most moral and upstanding manner.

These are the true teachings of Islam and people who do not live according to this are in a state of rebellion against God, and they will have to answer to Him on the Day of Judgment.

May Allah guide you to that which is best in this world and the next. Ameen.

Fi Aman Allah,

Nancy Umm Abdel Hamid

Why are you blaming all of us for what the crazy extremists did? What they did was wrong. Islamically and legally!!! Islam says that you must do anything you can to stay alive. Even if the girls were naked, it was still the DUTY and OBLIGATION of those there to rescue them. Those girls are seen as martyrs and are in Heaven, while their murderers will be burning in hell. Who are their murderers? Every single person who stood and did nothing or fought to keep them inside. Personally, I'd have been fighting tooth and nail to get them out, no matter what. This action was barbaric, cultural, and against Islam in all shapes and forms. This disgusts me as a Muslim woman.

How did I miss that in the news? but they do make a lot of sense about the hell fire doctrine and how insane it is.
The sad thing is that's a lie about God he doesn't do that.

The wages of sin is death, not life in torment

(Romans 6:23) For the wages sin pays is death, but the gift God gives is everlasting life by Christ Jesus our Lord.

The dead rest unconscience in hell., hades, sheol. Awaiting a resurrection.

(Psalm 89:48) What able-bodied man is there alive who will not see death? Can he provide escape for his soul from the hand of She´ol? Se´lah.

(John 5:28-29) Do not marvel at this, because the hour is coming in which all those in the memorial tombs will hear his voice 29 and come out, those who did good things to a resurrection of life, those who practiced vile things to a resurrection of judgment.

(John 11:24-25) Martha said to him: “I know he will rise in the resurrection on the last day.” 25 Jesus said to her: “I am the resurrection and the life. He that exercises faith in me, even though he dies, will come to life;

(Revelation 20:13-14) And the sea gave up those dead in it, and death and Ha´des gave up those dead in them, and they were judged individually according to their deeds. 14 And death and Ha´des were hurled into the lake of fire. This means the second death, the lake of fire.

Yes religious fundamentalism is crazy...Just as crazy would be the Christian Evangelist Paul Hill that slayed an abortion doctor to save the lives of unborn fetuses.

I'm a little confused... what does that have to do with Muslims? If you're asking for personal opinion, it's insane and a violation of human rights, not to mention murder.
