Yeas ago there was a 13 year old girl murdered in my neighborhood. Her mother was convicted of the crime and has been in prison for many years now. However, just reciently, some DNA testing points the finger at the man who was her boyfriend at the time. Her name is Crystallynn Girard and we are having a prayer vigil for her Monday night. The problem with that is that many of the folks attending the prayer vigil will be unsaved and the Bible says that God does not hear the prayers of the unsaved. So, if we don't have some Christians praying along side these unsaved people God will not hear them. Would you all pray with us for justice to prevail in this situation?

1Pe 3:12 For the eyes of the Lord [are] over the righteous, and his ears [are open] unto their prayers: but the face of the Lord [is] against them that do evil.

Psa 66:18 If I regard iniquity in my heart, the Lord will not hear [me]:

Isa 59:2 But your iniquities have separated between you and your God, and your sins have hid [his] face from you, that he will not hear.

I will pray as I'm a born again Christian. It's such a sad thing. Pay no never mind to the heathens that are giving you a hard time about your prayer request. They will reap what they sow.

I say a prayer for the dearly departed girl, her mother, and the boyfriend.

God bless you, and God bless all the "unsaved" as you put it.
In the process of them praying, God will hear them, and their faith. That is all that matters.
God bless everyone here daily!!!

This is truly dire and pathetic. How come your god allowed her to be murdered in the first place. Was she not saved enough? Why did your god allow her mother to go to prison for it??? But you sitting around with candles is going to make it all better???

The sad thing is you don't even see the irony.

Where in the Lord's name does it say that he doesn't hear the prayers of others??? It says when one or more gather in my name they will be heard! It says nothing about non believers!

You can't simply band together with other people who share a common cause, can you?

Your religious divisions always seem to drive a wedge into human communication.

The bible also says to kill obnoxious children who talk back to their parents. It can justify anything. But you and others are united for a common, just cause. Who cares what they believe?

Do not allow the unsaved to participate otherwise it will render the entire blessing void.

You're kidding.

Your god won't listen to prayers from people who aren't born agains?

Geez.
