No, it's not true. Jesus gave a word picture describing what it's like there: "outer darkness", "weeping and gnashing of teeth", "the fire is never quenched and the worm (people) never die."
Jesus didn't want anybody to go into eternity ignorant of the facts.
It's not a scare tactic, but He doesn't want anybody to say, "But I never knew!", so He gives an honest answer to the question of what hell will be like.
It's no different than a parent warning the children to stay out of the street while they are playing because they could get run over.
Wellllllll, not exactly the same. The parent can't undo a car accident, but Jesus CAN save us from the torment of hell if we would just let Him.

About as true as there is no Earth. If there were no Heaven or Hell, what do you call the area that is above you beyond your reach? Even the scientists call it the Heavens. Nobody with a brain in their head will say there is no Heaven or Hell. I feel sorry for anyone that will tell you that as they will find out one day they were totally wrong!! But then it will be too late.

No Ma'am! There is most definately a Heaven, and there is most definately a Hell. Those places are as real as you can get! Don't believe ANYONE who says theres not. But you dont have to go to Hell. That's why theres a Heaven! If you want to know how to get there, read the Bible. Believe on the name of the Lord Jesus Christ, and you shall be saved! Totally free, not of works. There is a Heaven, the HOLY BIBLE says so, Hell is also real, make no mistake about it. If you do not except Jesus Christ as your Lord and Saviour you will not go to Heaven, you must be born again, John 3:3, we are all sinners, Christ died for our sins on the cross, The Bible says that the devil is a liar and the father of it, one of his lies is that there is no consequences for our actions, he wants people to believe that all the way to their grave, that way they have to spend eternity with him in a place called hell. Absolutely. Heaven and Hell are complete fictions. Man made stories.
Living eternally sounds good now, but what happens after you have done everything? Eternity will eventually become pretty boring.
In one of Douglas Adams books, there was a race of immortal beings. They became so bored, they resorted to insulting every living being in the universe in alphabetical order.

That depends on your defintion of heaven and hell, and your religious beliefs. No one alive can know about either, so the existance is only theorized.
And there's always the chance that it only exists if you believe.

Heaven and hell do exist.
We are all meant to go to heaven that's where we belong.
But we are not meant to go to hell because hell was originally created for Lucifer and the fallen angels.
When one of Gods children goes to hell they are in fact trespassing where they don't belong.
If you are reborn in the body of Christ and repent of your sins you will not go to hell.
But if you don't repent and continue to live in sin you will go to hell and believe me you don't want to go there.
