I think we do! Some of us I think have no control over they're dark side.

I think that every human has the potential for great good, and the potential for great evil. It is our choices that define us.

Yes, from the fall of Adam we are all natural creatures subject to sin and falling. Yet we are granted time to overcome our natural tendencies and yield to the persuasions of the Holy Ghost and become children of God. It is entirely up to us, our free will agency, as to whether we yield to our dark side or not. We don't have to yield to the dark side, but we are tempted to and often times do... to our own detriment.
Our soul is like having two dogs within our minds who are always fighting each other... a good dog that inspires us to do good, and an evil dog that inspires us to do evil. The dog that wins is the one we feed the most.

Believe it...I wrote an entire Graduate level paper on it.
Much of it encompassed the work of Dawkin's and the Selfish Gene.
So that would be a yes. But I also believe we (well aside from those who have mental/neurological impairments) have the ability to choose our way.

Yes, but all dark sides aren't equal. Some folks are very, very dark.

No because some of refuse to make dark side choices hence it doesn't exist for them . if the door remains closed you aren't going into the room .
