Other than knock at the wood, please.

I am from Brazil and people are very superstitious there. I have brought a few with me kinda difficult to quit. For example, I always cross my fingers when I see a black bird (like a crow), to prevent bad luck. What about you?

I'm looking for a faith. I've never been a religious person but I've been through a hard time recently and need maybe something I can believe in.

I was bought up in a Irish Catholic family but I find catholicism has been dirtied by people who want to use it for their individual beliefs and own advantage like most other religions.
Is their any religion that doesn't judge, mock, be hypocritical and true to it's words?

Think about air we breath, food we eat, water we drink they are all given back when we go to the bathroom. The body we occupy is also given back when we die.

The big picture is that Everything that we have on Earth is not ours, right? We have to give everything back when we Die.

So shouldn't we use everything to the fullest if we borrow something, which means LIFE?

someone just posted this, its what they think an atheist would say to introduce themself at a door-to-door 'preaching' of atheism.

' I think they would start something like this -

"Hi I'm Tony and I'm arrogant and full of pride and basically an idiot who can't believe in anything I can't see." '

isnt it against 'God's will' to be rude and offensivly critical of other people? hasnt this so called Christian ever heard of 'love thy neighbour' ?? calling someone an arrogant idiot is just not nice in my opinion, and if I believed in God and followed Christian teachings id never say anything like this, especially unprovoked

im not trying to start an arguement, i just dont understand!!

oh and by the way, i dont for a fact KNOW that this person is a Christian, i just assumed which i know is wrong but i can safely say this is just an example, i have seen a lot of rude Christians, of whom i knew for a fact were Christian.

In hebrews it says we have a better covenant than the old? What was the old covenant, what is the new covenant, and what are the differences between these two covenants as to say that the new one is better than the old one? Just some survey questions -- I want to know what people think about this.

is it because you know in your heart of hearts there really is a God? Why don't you just accept Jesus? If you don't and you're wrong, you're going to be in trouble, but if you do and it turns out there really isn't a God, you've lost nothing, right? Something can't come from nothing. Do you really want to believe we came from monkeys? If we did, why are there still monkeys? Can the wind blow through a junkyard and have a plane form by accident?

I think not.

I live in Middle Tennessee and I'm a christian. I don't party or anything like that. I'm looking for good (maybe unique) ideas that the youth will love and will keep people in a wholesome atmosphere

I mean, if we had come from say, gerbils, i don't think it would be half the fun, and , yes I know that muskrat love is cool and everything, but , you must admit, monkey loving is the best.

“Hence today I believe that I am acting in accordance with the will of the Almighty Creator: by defending myself against the Jew, I am fighting for the work of the Lord.” –Adolf Hitler (Mein Kampf)

“Only in the steady and constant application of force lies the very first prerequisite for success. This persistence, however, can always and only arise from a definite spiritual conviction. Any violence which does not spring from a firm, spiritual base, will be wavering and uncertain.” –Adolf Hitler Mein Kampf (Here Hitler is admitting that his war against the Jews were so successful because of his strong Christian Spirituality.)

"The personification of the devil as the symbol of all evil assumes the living shape of the Jew." -Adolf Hitler Mein Kampf (The idea of the devil and the Jew came out of medieval anti-Jewish beliefs based on interpretations from the Bible. Martin Luther, and teachers after him, continued this “tradition” up until the 20th century.)
