why yes, yes it is. I've asked myself the very same question, oddly enough.

The idea that God's law, ( and I'm not speaking of the natural laws of physics,) .... that God's law is above the laws of man is one of the greatest problems we have facing us when dealing with the religionists. Believers of Islam, for example have recently take this more than radical view far to often and caused considerable death, damage and destruction in the name of Allah and all of it was based upon exactly the principle in question...

The bipolar values of some of our major religions allow for killing without due process of law. This is W R O N G and it must be put down firmly by reasonable thinking people everywhere including those who remain within the boundaries of religion, religious leadership. It's time for our civil and criminal laws to bring religious scripture under it's own domain and to keep it's sharpest eagle eye on the problem... moreover, it's time to condemn such teaching even to the point of demanding those scriptures that would condone violence - they should be eliminated from written and spoken rituals and rhetoric, and they ought to be stricken from publicly offered copies of the Bible and the Cu'ran. It si entirely irresponsible to do otherwise. Censorship in cases of public safety is not at all unreasonable.

If the religions can't effectively deliver the message, (and it certainly appears that they can't.) ...that man's law must be respected before God's law, that the life of one man is as precious as that of another, then man's law must take appropriate actions to see itself enforced by every means available to it. Organized religion must be held accountable for what it teaches or it must get out of the way or made to quite the business of teaching its most dangerous doctrines.

God's law has been around long before Adam and eve. It was in force during the time of Job. This time is between Genesis 1:1 and 1:2 . This is known as the " first earth age" ( a time dispensation not the age of the earth). It was then that satan refused to follow God's laws. Which lead to satan and his followers to revolt. God " put down " (katabole) that revolt by ending that earth age with a worldwide flood (not Noah's). But instead of killing His children He decided to give satans followers a second chance . This second chance is for whomsoever will believe that Christ's death takes the place of our death for sinning.

Yeah, just as ironic as all the other laws of matter and energy and space and time having been invented by man.

Tis very strange indeed. Also, quite upsetting!

Sometimes it means that people are so busy justifying what god did or didn't intend, that they forget the suffering of whoever they're telling!!

I came across a book that answers a fair bit about who orders what . . . I hope it helps!

They mean "The god's law we made" are above the god's law you made of the man's law you made.

It is hardly ironic. Your assertion that god's law was invented by man (and what's with the gender specific language, anyway?) is precisely the argument.

The onus you have is to show that arguments about god's existence fail, and why they fail.

haha.... what people say as God's law is not God's law....... God's laws are universal...... there are no ifs and buts.... no wrongs or rights........ if 100 people jump off a cliff... all will fall down.... no one is going to go up shooting into the sky..... the laws are beyond morality ,religion , space .... time....etc...... a rose bush will grow roses.... no matter where you grow them ..... you can break a man's law .... you can murder someone.... you are certainly not going to fall UP.... you can try if you want to :P

man didn't "invent" God's law, God did, as it says in the Bible. God delivered His law to Moses who transcribed it. Maybe you should try reading the Bible and getting your questions straight, before making assumptions.

It was not invented by man but God himself. You should try and ACTUALLY read the BIBLE, if possible.
