In a way some do. Some fasley claim that God wants you to be rich and have lots of possessions and that all you need to do is give a little bit of money to the church and God will reward you for this greater. Some even say that if you have a little bit of faith that God will make you rich. I guess this doesn't apply to third world nations living in starvation and poverty.

Some evangelists can be a bit extreme, check this out, Jesus once said " Many will say to me on that day, ‘Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in your name, and in your name drive out demons and perform many miracles?’ Then I will tell them plainly, ‘I never knew you. Away from me, you evildoers!’

Alot of people are going to want thier money back!!!

People used to try and pay FOR it. Not the other way around.
Acts 8:18-24
18When Simon saw that the Spirit was given at the laying on of the apostles' hands, he offered them money 19and said, "Give me also this ability so that everyone on whom I lay my hands may receive the Holy Spirit."

20Peter answered: "May your money perish with you, because you thought you could buy the gift of God with money! 21You have no part or share in this ministry, because your heart is not right before God. 22Repent of this wickedness and pray to the Lord. Perhaps he will forgive you for having such a thought in your heart. 23For I see that you are full of bitterness and captive to sin."

24Then Simon answered, "Pray to the Lord for me so that nothing you have said may happen to me."

Probably not in developed countries like ours.

However "certain" Christian missionaries in third world countries make indoctrination a part of being able to access food and schooling. That's were the term, "rice Christians" came from. Third world natives who still hold on to their native beliefs but pretend to accept Christianity or even adopt parts of it just to get food from the missionaries.

Never! The name of the game is that suckers pay for tickets to a phony Heaven that many smart men would not like if it did exist. When I was a kid, I did not want to go to such a boring, depressing place, and i read that "Tom Sawyer' shared my opinion. later, I saw that Isaac Asimove did too.

Accepting Jesus doesn't work unless you do all on your own; because you believe it's the right thing to do.

TONY - You can't say that and be a Christian.

Don't you know that?

Either develop some self-discipline in ignoring these type of questions or accept that you're not a real Christian.

It wouldn't work, neither would force, its a freewill act on the part of the one accepting Jesus.

"Surely the serpent will bite without enchantment; and a babbler is no better. The words of a wise man's mouth are gracious; but the lips of a fool will swallow up himself. The beginning of the words of his mouth is foolishness: and the end of his talk is mischievous madness."
(Ecclesiastes 10:11-13)
