You know what is interesting? Even in the Old Testemant the people who believed God was good and loved them and was merciful got just that from him (Abraham, Noah, Jacob, Rahab, David, etc etc) So even though the old testemant seemed to present a different God than the one in the new testemant you can see that by faith people obtained grace and favor from God Jehovah even then. Jesus just made it easier (hopefully) for us to comprehend his LOVE (God's love that is). I think that not everybody serves the same God but if they have found entrance to our God through the Holy Spirit even though they were never taught about Jesus specifically they may be saved. God is only going to hold people accountable for what they know. Why? Because he is fair, just, righteous, loving and his mercy endures forever. I think we need to be really careful about going around saying people aren't saved and just concentrate on testifying about what God has shown to us personally.

All religions do not worship the same god. Even within the Christian churches, the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob is not necessarily worshiped, although that will come as a surprise to many.

All of Christianity desperately needs to return to its roots and study with and about the first Christians, who were Jews. Yeshua was and is a Jew. The Messianic "movement" grows daily. The amount of material about the early church and the Hebrew roots is huge and readily available, yet many churches feel threatened by it. It's the most comforting and joyful thing I've ever encountered.

We have strayed far from the path through Luther and Calvin and are leading believers down a dry path. When you study with Messianic Jews, it's scary how far afield the church has gone, all of them, not just the RC. Is it Satan leading the churches astray? Who else has a vested interest in that happening?

Nohahim (answer above): The closest thing to allah in the Bible is the Hebrew alah, which means curse. The name allah is probably drived from this word and, thus, it is a curse.

Greetings all,

I will make this one short and of course, The Truth. No religion worships "God" first of all, so to even say some, is wrong. Every major religion is based on the beliefs that "the LORD God", Jehovah God of Israel is "God" and Christians believe he is "Jesus" and think he is "God". "the LORD God" of Israel is Lucifer and it is time mankind knows they have been deceived by an enemy of "God" that they did not know was an enemy.

The King James clearly states at a 4.3 grade reading level that "God" is "God" and "the LORD God" is "the LORD God". If "God" is going to start everything off, you can bet that Lucifer would be right behind him trying to do the same thing. The funny thing is that he found a way to use men to do his deceiving. All those who were believed to be anointed to start a religion, what are only cults that got too large for man to control so they accepted them and gave them boundaries.

The last time any nation or religion worshiped the True "God", Elohim, was when those preIslam Ishmaelites were calling a "God" "al-Lah", who just happened to be Elohim. The thing was is "al-Lah" was not the same as the Jehovah God of Israel as Mohammad was led to believe by Gabriel. Elohim is the True Father "God" my bretheren and sisteren, The One! al-Lah! before the quran. Jesus Christ is His Son and His Lamb and Our Brother. Before you can really know "God" and "Jesus Christ" you have to know who the devil is. I can't help it after all this time I find out it is "the LORD God" of Israel.

All religions do worship the same god, Lucifer "the LORD God" of Israel who is responsible for forming Satan out of the ground. Who as Satan has his own followers too.

The Brother of Jesus Christ, Prince Abdullah Ahad Ruhd Shihn

I think all religions worship the Creator. The One Who created the heavens , the Earth and all the other planets as well as humans. But the messanger of every religion differs from other religions. Muslims believe in Muhammed , an ordinary prophet was sent to us fromGod . Christians believe in the incarnated God, Jesus Christ. Jews believe in God but r still waiting for the Messeiah. Other religions worship the creator by sembolizing Him by a piece of rock .

Good Luck!

Speaking as a Christian, I will say that there are some Christians, indeed, Christians within my own Church who are led by Satan in religious garb, although I am hardly qualified to judge who specifically that might be. Now, if I'm willing to admit that about some of my own brethren, I'd say that I'd also consider it likely for other folks, too.

All religions do not worship the same God. Jehovah, the God of Abraham, tells us about Himself in the Bible. All other religious books contradict the Bible.

In the Bible we are told about God, Jesus and the Holy Spirit. We are SHOWN that God loves us unconditionally and sent His only begotten Son to take our place for our sins. We are told that Jesus sent His Holy Spirit to us to help us live this life for God and to raise us from death just as He did Jesus. Any other doctrine is false.

Jesus is not a religion, He is a personal relationship.

From my studies of religion, and the various characteristics of "God," I'd say that the mainstream religions all worship the same God, more or less. Mormons, Christians, Jews, Muslims, and even Pagans, Hindus and theistic Buddhists.... the nature of God, in their definition, is what tells us whether they worship him or not.

People of all faiths listen to their hearts (the Holy Spirit) and thus can tell truth from falsehood, even within their own faiths.

Those who are full of suffering, anger, confusion, etc, are still following Satan, even if they are members of "the one true religion." Those who are full of love, faith, purity and devotion to God have found the essence of truth, regardless of religion.

The main purpose of a religion is to worship and obey God, whether the God be Jesus, Ganesha, Budha or Allah. No religion worships Satan, Satan was created by God. Whoever worships Satan is in a cult not a religion.
